For days, Luna had been urging Earth to let him visit Saturn. Earth, ever the cautious one, was hesitant. He couldn’t shake his concern; those moons were notorious for causing chaos.

“Luna, are you really sure you want to go all the way there just to see her?” Earth asked, frowning as if Luna were proposing a perilous adventure. Deep down, he’d never admit it, but he always worried when Luna ventured off to see his girlfriend.

Luna nodded with quiet determination, fiddling with the strings of his dark purple hoodie. “Yeah. It’s just... it’s been a while. I miss her,” he replied, giving Earth a hopeful look.

Earth sighed, glancing toward the Kuiper Belt. “Alright, fine,” he relented, though the worry was evident in his voice. “Just... don’t get into any trouble, okay?”

A wide smile broke across Luna’s face. “I’ll be back before you know it!” With that, he turned and shot off with an eager burst of energy, crossing the vast distance of space faster than he ever had before.

As he approached Saturn and its orbiting moons, Luna scanned the stars around him. Soon, he spotted her—Dione, one of Saturn’s major moons, floating nearby and looking bored.

Luna's face brightened, and he floated over to her, practically buzzing with excitement. “Dione!” he called, waving eagerly, unable to hide his delight.

Dione looked up, mildly surprised to see him. “Luna? What are you doing here?” she asked, her voice laced with curiosity, though a faint smile crept across her face. Maybe, just maybe, she had a tiny, very tiny weakness for him.

“I just… wanted to see you. It’s been too long,” Luna replied.

Dione’s expression softened, feeling a familiar warmth flush her cheeks. She always hated how easily she melted at Luna’s words. “That makes sense.”

They floated together in comfortable silence, the stars shimmering around them. Luna glanced at her, a soft, hopeful look in his eyes, contemplating whether to ask for a hug.

Catching his expression, Dione sighed, knowing that look all too well. “Alright, alright, you can have a hug,” she said, her tone begrudging but laced with affection. She couldn't always be harsh with him.

Luna’s face lit up with joy, and before she could finish her sentence, he threw his arms around her in a tight embrace. But it wasn’t just any hug—it was one of those “I-missed-you-more-than-you-know” hugs that made the receiver wonder if they would ever be let go.

“Luna,” Dione mumbled, trying to pry him off, feeling flustered. “I said a hug, not a stranglehold!”

“Just a few more seconds,” Luna replied, his voice muffled as he buried his face in her shoulder, feeling the soft fabric of her black undershirt.

Dione let out a small huff, awkwardly patting him on the back. She wouldn’t admit it, but maybe she.... missed him, BUT just a little! "Fine… just a little longer,” she muttered, her voice quieter than usual.

Moments passed, and Dione swore Luna tightened his grip even more. “Okay, that’s enough!” Dione exclaimed, attempting to push him away, but being smaller and having less gravity made it quite difficult.

With a reluctant sigh, Luna finally released her, a sad smile on his face. “Okay,” he said, letting out a soft sigh.

Dione dusted off her dress and looked away, trying to hide her blush before turning back to him. After a moment of collecting herself, she asked, “What do you want to do?”

Luna thought for a moment, contemplating how they could pass the time. “I brought solar cards with me,” he suggested.

Dione squinted, giving him a skeptical look. “What is that?” she asked, raising an eyebrow.

Luna gasped dramatically. “It’s a card game that Sun gave to the planets!”

Dione furrowed her brows, eyeing him suspiciously. “That mad star? Sure… what’s a card game?” she asked, crossing her arms over her chest.

“Oh boy…” Luna muttered with a small sigh.

“Okay… What’s the goal?” Dione asked, eyeing the cards in her hands.

Luna draped his arm around Dione’s shoulders. “To summon a star.”

Dione rolled her eyes. What else did she expect? “Of course…”

“To summon a star, you need to give three planets. To summon a planet, you either give up three moons or one dwarf planet,” Luna explained. “We have star cards, planet cards, dwarf planet cards, moon cards, and anomaly cards.”

He was about to continue when Dione interrupted. “What are anomaly cards?”

“Anomaly cards have special powers. You can use them at the start of your turn,” Luna explained with a smile. “Anyway. Each player has a deck of exactly 25 cards, which must include a star, five planets, three dwarf planets, twelve moons, and four anomaly cards. After shuffling your deck, draw five cards and begin!”

After a few intense rounds, Dione leaned back with a huff, letting her cards fall to her side. “Okay, okay, I give up. I just don’t have the patience for this game.”
Luna looked at her, a playful smile still on his face. “What, you can’t handle a little friendly competition?” he teased, but he quickly noticed the slight frown on her face.
Dione shrugged, crossing her arms. “It’s not that; it’s just… I don’t know. I’d rather talk than keep playing. It feels more... meaningful.”

Luna smiled as he collected his cards, tucking them away into the depths of his dark purple hoodie. “Alright, alright, we can talk,” he agreed, shifting to sit beside Dione. His heart raced with a mixture of excitement and anxiety as he felt the warmth radiating from her.
Dione leaned against him, and Luna felt a wave of contentment wash over him. The stars twinkled brightly in the vastness of space, but at that moment, all he could focus on was the girl next to him. They sat in comfortable silence, the only sound being the gentle hum of the cosmos surrounding them.
