As they make their way through the dense forest, Lilith looks around, her eyes wide with curiosity. She points to the towering, leafy structures around them. "What are all these tall things next to us they look like those weird looking wooden things we have back at hell?" she asks, bewildered.
Zephiron chuckles softly, "Humans call these 'trees.' They use them for materials and, sometimes, they even bear food."
Lucifera follows behind them, quietly observing. Watching Lilith's amazement at the ordinary forest makes her smile, reminded of the differences between their worlds.
As they walk through the forest, Lilith lifts her face to the sun, letting its warmth wash over her. "The sun... I've heard about it, but it feels so nice. If I'd known about this sooner, I would've come here ages ago," she says with a contented sigh.
Lucifera trails behind, watching Lilith with a soft gaze, not quite understanding this new, warm feeling that's stirring within her. Lost in thought, her eyes drift... only for Lilith to suddenly catch her.
With a smirk, Lilith glances over her shoulder. "Lucifera, are you staring at my ass?"
Lucifera's eyes widen, her face flushing as she stammers, "N-No! I was just... uh... thinking about something else." She quickly looks away, trying to regain her composure.
Lilith chuckles, tossing a playful wink over her shoulder. "Well, I don't mind if you do, anyway."
Lucifera's blush deepens as she tries to find words, but instead, she just ends up staring at the ground, her heart racing a little faster. "I... wasn't—" she stammers, but even she knows it sounds unconvincing.
Lilith laughs softly, her smile warm as she slows her pace to walk alongside Lucifera. "You're adorable when you're flustered, you know that?"
Zephiron clears his throat, reminding them to focus as the town comes into view. "Listen up. In the human realm, they trade with coins—gold, silver, copper. I have a few silver on me, but if we're going to rent a horse and carriage, we'll need more than that."
Lucifera raises an eyebrow, nodding thoughtfully. "I always knew the human realm was similar to ours, but hearing it is... kind of insane."
Lilith's eyes widen with curiosity. "Wait, you have horses up there too?"
Lucifera nods. "Yeah—though they have wings."
Zephiron shakes his head. "Horses here don't have wings, but they're still fast. Practical, too."
Lilith sighs, half-disappointed. "A shame... I would've liked to fly."
Lucifera offers a small smile. "Well, if I ever get my wings back, maybe I could pick you up with them."
As they enter the bustling town, Lilith looks around, amazed at the groups of people chatting, trading, and laughing. "Why are there so many groups of people?"
Zephiron glances at her. "Most of them band together to explore. They take on missions for money or fame."
Lilith considers this. "So... I guess that's our next step?"
Zephiron nods. "Exactly. We're headed to a place where they hand out missions for travelers like us."
Lucifera frowns, slightly confused. "Why do they do that?"
"Because not only that it party's well it also gets people to come to town more if they're mission to explore," Zephiron explains. "It'll will give us what we need to get where we're going."
As they reach the lively hall bustling with people, Lucifera takes in the crowd of adventurers, each dressed in various gear, some seated around tables and others gathered at a large mission board.
