As Lucifera's crew trudged through the thick snow, a shadow suddenly darted across the blizzard, swift and silent. Everyone froze, sensing the danger in the air.
Lucifera's voice was barely a whisper, but urgent. "Hide. Now."
Without hesitation, the group scattered to find cover, pressing themselves low against the rocky outcrops, their breaths held as the figure circled back overhead, too distant to make out clearly, yet unmistakably searching.
Elysia raised her hand, signaling the others to halt. "Wait," she said, squinting at the snowy ground. "I think I saw something—a trace."
Bardiel, shivering despite his heavy armor, looked back with frustration evident on his face. "This weather's a curse. Even if they're hiding in these mountains, they'll have to come out eventually. There's only a few paths out toward the kingdom."
The other Wingless members exchanged wary glances. The storm made every step treacherous, and the bitter cold was testing their endurance. Bardiel's voice cut through the wind, steady and resolute, "Stay sharp. We won't lose them."
Lilith whispered, "Who are they?"
Lucifera shook her head, glancing upwards. "I don't know. I couldn't see clearly... but they're right above us."
Finn swallowed, his voice barely audible. "What do we do?"
"Just hide," Lucifera replied in a low tone. "If we're lucky, they might not have spotted us yet."
Zephiron cursed under his breath, tension evident in his clenched jaw. "Damn it... if it comes to a fight, we're in no condition to take them on like this."
Lucifera's eyes darted to the ground, widening as she saw the line of footprints trailing through the snow. "Damn it... our footprints."
She straightened, gripping her weapon. "Everyone, get ready to fight. If they see those tracks, it's over."
Zara pointed to the faint indentations in the snow. "Elysia, look. Those are footprints."
Gabriel squinted, shrugging. "Could've been an animal. This weather is messing with everything."
Kaden stepped forward, scanning the tracks. "Still... it doesn't hurt to check. A few minutes won't delay us too much."
Bardiel sighed, his tone begrudging. "Fine. We'll search. But let's make it quick. We don't have time to waste in this storm."
Suddenly, an eerie laugh broke the silence, followed by a voice laced with dark amusement. "So, it seems we've been tracking a group of angels... How intriguing.'"(warden)
Zuraith, the Blood Mage, narrowed his eyes as his power hummed beneath his skin. He could feel the tension building. "Angels... here? This is either a very bad sign or a twisted opportunity," he muttered, his voice dripping with dark curiosity, the magic in his veins awakening.
Verathorn, the Goat Demon, snorted, his hooves scraping against the cold ground. His patience was wearing thin, and the mention of angels only served to frustrate him further. "Oh, so that's the terrible smell," he grumbled, his nostrils flaring as the recognition settled in. "Angels? Why the hell are they here ? This just got more interesting."
Letharia, the Succubus, smiled darkly, her lips curling in a seductive grin. She leaned in closer, her voice a soft, sultry whisper filled with temptation. "Angels, huh?" she purred, her eyes gleaming with wicked delight. "I do love a good challenge. They never are quite what they seem... so pure, yet so deliciously sinful when you peel back the layers," she mused, her tone laced with dark desire, the hunger for more than just a fight clear in her gaze.
