Notice to Readers
Dear Readers,
I want to thank you for giving my story a chance, but I have an important message to share. After much reflection, I’ve realized that this story is far from what I hoped it would be. As a new and inexperienced writer, I made many mistakes in this book.
To grow and improve, I’ve decided to start fresh with a new book that reflects the lessons I’ve learned and the research I’ve done to create a better experience for you. I invite you to check out my latest work:
New Book: THE FALLEN HERO
This new story is the beginning of a journey where I aim to craft a world and characters that you can truly connect with. I’m excited for you to explore it and share your thoughts.
Thank you for your understanding and support as I continue to grow as a writer.
Warm regards,

A shrill, piercing sound shattered the silence, dragging him from a restless sleep. His hand groped blindly across his bedside table, fingers fumbling until they found the source of the noise: the alarm clock. With a groggy groan, he smacked it off, plunging the room back into silence. For a moment, he just lay there, staring at the cracked ceiling above, his mind trying to shake off the fog of sleep.
Blinking, he rubbed his eyes and slowly sat up, taking in his surroundings. A jolt of confusion shot through him. This... this is my old room.
The room was barely lit, the dim morning light filtering through the thin curtains. Posters he'd hung up years ago sagged from the walls, their colors faded and corners curled. A chill seeped through the cracked window, and the faint smell of mildew hung in the air. Every detail was painfully familiar: the clutter of unwashed clothes strewn across the floor, the peeling wallpaper, the stack of untouched textbooks collecting dust on his desk.
His chest tightened as he absorbed it all. "No... no way," he whispered, heart pounding. "This can't be real. I... I know I died. I saved that girl, didn't I? And then... then I met that being, the one who sent me to... that other world."
He touched his chest instinctively, half-expecting to feel some warmth, a hint of the magic that had once filled him. But there was nothing. Just an empty ache where that life had once been.
Was it... all a dream? The thought clawed at him, twisting his gut. Memories of the other world surfaced in his mind-his mother's gentle touch, his father's proud smile, the warmth of a family he'd never had in this life. In that world, he had a purpose, a place where he belonged. Here... I'm just another forgotten face in a crowded city, surviving day to day without meaning.
He walked over to the window, looking out as the dull, gray morning light filtered in, casting shadows on the mess of papers, takeout boxes, and empty cups scattered across the desk. Outside, the same dreary view greeted him-a city cloaked in monotony, a place where he'd spent countless days just barely surviving. I am again Satsuriku Tenshi, a man lost in the shadows of his own life.
Maybe that other world had been just a dream... but I can't bring myself to believe that.
The weight of his past life sank onto his shoulders as he stumbled toward his desk, catching a glimpse of himself in the small mirror. Dark circles ringed his eyes, and his face looked hollow, worn down by exhaustion. His gaze drifted to the city beyond the window, dull and lifeless under a gray sky.
