Chapter 3: Unfolding Destinies

Notice to Readers

Dear Readers,

I want to thank you for giving my story a chance, but I have an important message to share. After much reflection, I’ve realized that this story is far from what I hoped it would be. As a new and inexperienced writer, I made many mistakes in this book.

To grow and improve, I’ve decided to start fresh with a new book that reflects the lessons I’ve learned and the research I’ve done to create a better experience for you. I invite you to check out my latest work:

New Book: THE FALLEN HERO

This new story is the beginning of a journey where I aim to craft a world and characters that you can truly connect with. I’m excited for you to explore it and share your thoughts.

Thank you for your understanding and support as I continue to grow as a writer.

Warm regards,
[ @DJ_SIDDIQUI ]

The secret training continued over the years. Though diligent, the growth in Argus's magical abilities remained limited. Two years had passed, and now, at eight years old, he could only produce a small flame at the tip of his fingers. He had developed a control over elements like fire, electricity, and water, but only in minuscule amounts. Strangely, he also discovered an affinity for a rare element: darkness. It puzzled him. Why could he cast a dark element spell human can't use dark elements. Even so Argus increases his mana core capacity he Steel only able to use a small amount of magic despite his relentless efforts.

Argus had strengthened his mana core considerably, far beyond what was typical for children his age. His body was already tough, and his stamina surpassed that of his peers. Yet, in terms of actual spellcasting, his friends could easily outshine him-casting fireballs like his father, Kaelen, while he could barely light a candle.

However, he honed another skill, a silent one-his ability to sense magical energy around him sharpened. He could feel the presence of magical creatures lurking nearby and even sense the magical signatures of other children in the village. But none of them seemed to notice the faint magical energy that constantly emanated from him. Not even Kaelen.

At eight, Argus had grown into a handsome boy and was well-known in the village. His well-mannered nature endeared him to many, and some girls even seemed to develop early crushes on him. One day, while wandering in the forest, he stumbled upon a magical beast-a wolf-like creature, but it was injured. The creature, small and resembling a pup, drew forth his sympathy.
