I stretched, yawning, and reached for Jax. He wasn't there. I felt around, my eyes opening, my vision still blurry. "...Jax?..." I said sleepily, glancing around. "Huh... that's weird.." I muttered to myself. I then remembered the events of yesterday, and sighed.

'Oh yeah... Caine appeared in the middle of our cuddle session.' I remembered, and stood up. Jax'd probably be in the main room, where he'd scoop me up, and bring me back to his room, and Caine wouldn't care about it anymore. Jax had to have talked some sense into him... right?

I walked down the hall, descended the stairs, and into the main room. Kinger was in his pillow fort, Gangle was giving Zooble a small drawing lesson, Ragatha and Pomni were talking together cheerfully, and Jax...

"Now, my little triplet tangerines, we are going to go on an adventure that requires you to work with someone you almost never work with!" Caine shouted excitedly, pulling my attention away from scanning the rest of the room.

Zooble groaned. "I'm not going on this adventure." They scoffed, and walked away. Gangle looked a bit sad, even though she was still wearing her comedy mask, and I sighed slightly. Caine didn't look bothered in the slightest. "Gangle, you will be paired with Y/n! Jax, you're with Pomni! And then Ragatha, you get to work with Kinger!" He said, and snapped, and suddenly, everyone was standing in pairs. I glanced at Gangle, and she gave me a smile.

"Well, this should be fun!" She laughed, and I smiled back. "Hopefully." I responded, and Caine started spinning. Which wasn't exactly strange for him, but it still wasn't normal. "Uhhh..." I began, before being interrupted by Jax. "Shut it, Y/n." He snarled, which... surprised me. I didn't say anything about it, though, and Bubble said enthusiastically, "Today's adventure is Hangman Hilarity!"

Caine suddenly came to a stop. "You will need to use your skills to figure out what the word is! Just a hint, each word will be related to your teammate! Your teammate will be hanging on a rope, and each time you guess a letter wrong, the water level rises! Once your teammate is fully engulfed in water, my dear little fish Mr. Fluffers will swallow them whole! And it'll be up to you to get them out of his adorable little stomach!"

"W-wait, WHAT?!" Ragatha cried, and Jax grinned. "What, afraid your teammate is too crazy to get anything right?" He teased, and Ragatha glared at him. "Shut up, you pompous periwinkle-" She retorted, and Caine snapped.

Suddenly, me and Gangle were in a large room, with Gangle tied to a rope by her waist, suspended above water. Above her, there were five large lines, presumably for each letter of the word. Gangle let out a yelp as her mask fell from her face, landing with a splash in the water. A large shadow came up from out of the depths, and took the mask in its jaws, before slowly lowering again.

"Eeeek!!" Gangle cried, and I shouted, "Don't worry, Gangle! I'll get you out of there!" I looked around, and saw the words "Round 1" and "Tries left: 10/10". I thought for a moment, and shouted hesitantly, "B..?"

The water rose slightly. "Tries left: 9/10", a robotic voice sounded, and the words I'd noticed earlier rearranged themselves. A line below them appeared, the letter "B" now on it.

Gangle whimpered, and my mind raced. Without thinking, I blurted, "I?"

The water rose again. My breath caught in my throat. How was I so stupid?! Of course it wasn't I, why in the circus would it be I?!

I hate to say I told you so, but... sorry. Make sure you actually submit what you think the letter/word is, otherwise Gangle will have to experience the stomach.
