Nayantara's pov

As I parted the curtains of my palanquin and looked at my palace, a sense of nostalgia washed over me. The journey to my kingdom took six long hours, but the sight of my home made it all worth it. Tears welled up in my eyes as I gazed at the familiar surroundings, realizing how much I missed my kingdom. Despite only being away for a few months since my marriage, it felt like an eternity since I had last seen my family. The sense of longing and homesickness weighed heavily on my heart as I reflected on the time that had passed since I left my kingdom.

"Nayantara"

I glanced over at Kashmira, who sat beside me in the palanquin, surrounded by Abhimanyu and a small group of soldiers as we were the only two women on our journey, We opted for a minimal number of soldiers for our one-day trip, knowing that the route was relatively safe and short.

I looked at kashmira she also had tears in her eyes. Obviously, she also missed her parents, her family.

The soldiers lowered the palanquin gently to the ground as we arrived at our palace gates, feeling the anticipation of the welcoming drum sound signaling our arrival.

I parted the curtains and stepped outside, taking in the sight of my kingdom. As the palace gates opened before me, I felt a lump form in my throat. Overwhelmed by an unexplainable feeling.

"Nayantara, let's go."

Kashmira said as we looked ahead. Abhimanyu also came with us as we stood just in front of our palace. I looked at my family, all my family members had tears in their eyes as they looked at me.

"Maasa"

I whispered slowly as I looked at her, she was looking pale like she didn't take care of her at all. My brothers stood behind my mother with their wives and my father was nowhere in sight.

"Nayantara, come here."

Maasa said while spreading her arms wide for me. Tears fell down my eyes as I instantly wrapped my arms around her and hugged her while hidin my face into her neck. She patted my hairs while trying to calm me down.

"Shh, humari bachhi."

{"Shh, my child."}

After few moments I pulled away and looked at her. Tears were streaming down her face too. I gently wiped her tears while she wiped my tears too.

She kissed my forehead, and said

"We all missed you very much."

I looked at everyone and replied

"I missed you all too."

Everyone smiled while looking at me. And suddenly,

"Pranam kakisa"

Abhimanyu greeted my mother as he came in front and touched her feet. My mother gently caressed his head and greeted him too.

"How are you Abhimanyu?"

She asked while touching his arms and looking at him with sad eyes

"I am good kakisa"

He replied and my younger brother said.

"Humein khushi hai ki dono mei se kisi ek bhai ko toh uchit  aur anuchit ki samajh hai."

{"I am glad that one of the two brothers have a sense of right and wrong."}
