Fay's POV

"Dan? You coming?", I shouted over my shoulder, enthusiastically running outof the car. The fresh air felt so good on my skin. The ground was so safe under my feet. i felt strong again. And that was only because of Dan. He had cared about me so much the last few days. He sheltered me in every way he could.

"I'm right there", he whispered into my ear and wrapped his strong arms gently around my waist. I got goosebumps from his breath in my neck. But it felt good. Everything did.

"Thank you", I said, staring into the setting sun.

"For what?", he asked.

"For being", I just answered. He knew what I meant. He knew how I felt.

I felt overly happy, because next to me, there were standing two colorful suitcases with a lot of clothes in them. In front of me there was a huge plane, slowly rolling and breaking the low sunlight with it's massive wings. In just a few minutes we were going to sit inside of it, watching the world becoming smaller and smaller, leaving London for a two week vacation. Far far away, in a land where no one was evil. Just Dan and me.

After a mild panic attack, followed by a not as mild one, we were finally sitting relaxed in our seats, our hands intertwined, watching charlie and the chocolate factory.

The movie was over and Dan switched it off and turned around in his seat a bit. He looked into my eyes and they were of a perfect chocolate river brown. I felt like the whole universe stopped turning and everything was focused on his gaze. I heard my heart beat loud and out of rhythm, pounding in my ears. Then I felt his warm, perfect hand touch my face. He gently stroke my cheekbone with his thumb, then he cupped my face with both of his hands and pulled me tenderly towards him. The moment our lips met, I realised how much I actually needed him. I needed him more than anything. Without him I would be dead and forgotten. But he didn't stop believing and he found me. And when he found me, he didn't give up on me. He tried so hard and never gave up on me, even though I already did. Day by day he gave life and love to me.

He pulled back and we stayed an inch apart for a few seconds.

Then he whispered: "Your lips taste like lemon."

I chuckled and kissed his nose.

"Your's do too", I whispered back. Then we kissed again. A lot of butterflies were flying around in my belly,

"Did you know, that brimstone butterfly is named lemon butterfly in Germany?", I whispered.

"No", he snickered, "why?".

"Because I have them inside of me now", I said and then pressed another short kiss on his lips. Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder and winced.

"I'm sorry, I don't mean to interrupt you two, but please seat up, we're landing", a nice looking stewardess said in a calm voice. I blushed and, glancing over to Dan, he did the same.

"Oh yes. Of course", I muttered and we pulled our seats up to sitting position and leaned back, not without intertwining our fingers again.

"Welcome to paradise", Dan shouted through the seriously huge suite in our hotel. The sun was shining through the glass wall. I could see lots of swimming pools and, a little further, there was the beach and the ocean.

It was too long ago since I have been by the seaside. I was always someone with a lot of wanderlust, but never enough time or money.

Dan was sitting on the huge, comfortable looking bed and I ran towards him, threw myself on him, so that we fell back into the pillows.

I was lying on top of him, laughing my lungs out.

"This means revenge", he hissed and threw me off him, just to jump on top of me, pressing my wrists down to the side of my head. He slowly bowed down until his nose was touching mine. There he stayed for a  second, then he kissed me, not letting go off my hands.

"Welcome to paradise", said someone and we drove apart.

In the door, there were two guys standing, looking at us, like we were some seriously rare animals.

"What the heck?", Dan said, sounding genuinely confused, "this is our suite."

"Why did the keys match then?", one of the guys said.

"Well, I don't know, but we have been here first, so, go and get a different room."

"But this was the only suite free.", the other one said.

"Well then, did they tell  you there is just one bed then?"

Just one bed?

The two guys blushed, looking at each other awkwardly. It actually looked like they knew very well.

"Oh", Dan said slowly. "I get it. Well. Whatever, let's go down and deal with this, shall we? What are your names?"

I couldn't help but feel proud about the way Dan was handling things.

"I'm Kurt", one said, his voice was horrifically high pitched.

"I'm Blaine", the black-haired said.

I know this is really short again, there will be a longer chapter I hope, somewhen. Anyways. Thank you for a thousand reads, and thanks to everyone supporting and commenting and stuff. If it wasn't due to all that, there wouldn't be this chapter up right now. I'm dealing with something, that's why I'm almost not writing anymore. But I hope I will manage to write some more chapters in the future.

Oh and also: do you realise what I did there?

Let me know what you think and

Keep smiling
