Jake looked at Ellie's confused face and said, "Ellie, don't you want to buy me lunch? You told me your parents are wealthy, right?" Still bewildered, Ellie replied, "Okay, I will buy you lunch." The other kids, surprised by her response, chimed in; another girl excitedly said, "Me too! Can you buy me lunch?" Soon, the others joined in, asking Ellie to buy them lunch as well. Although surprised, Ellie shyly responded, "Of course." The kids happily thanked her, including Jake.

They rushed to the school cafeteria, where Ellie used the card her parents had given her to buy lunch for everyone. Every month, her parents provided her with a card loaded with money, allowing her to purchase anything she wanted. Ellie was thrilled to help her friends and felt like she finally had the real friendships she had always dreamed of.

In the following days, Jake and the other kids continued to ask Ellie to buy them lunch and various items. Without hesitation, Ellie happily obliged, bringing them whatever they requested. She also joined in on the different games organized by the kids during recess. Jake was Ellie's closest friend, and she always made sure to get him anything he asked for. Ellie was so happy that she was excited to go to school every day.

One morning, as her maids prepared her for school, Ellie's excitement made her forget to grab her card. She hurriedly rushed to the car, and her driver took her to school. That day during recess, Jake said to Ellie, "Ellie, I forgot my lunch today. Could you buy me something to eat, please?" Ellie cheerfully responded, "Of course," and quickly went to her classroom to retrieve her card from her bag. However, she was surprised to find that she couldn't locate her card. Confused, she remembered that she had left it at home.

Feeling sad, she returned to the playground and told Jake, "Sorry, I can't buy you lunch today. I forgot my credit card." Jake did not respond and walked away without saying a word. After recess, Ellie tried to talk to the other kids, but they all avoided her.
