Chapter 32 Andra's Potion Commotion

Orko was in his magic room showing something to Yuka. Orko was giving Yuka an important lesson. Damien and Andra came into watch this the two of them had nothing else to do. Orko said they could assist for this as long as they were careful.

"Okay Yuka, these are some special potions," Orko said. "There are many types of potions we Trollans create for various reasons," he said. "Some used for cleaning around the house, or bathing, coloring fabric, or things like frosting, for curing bad breath, taking care of hiccups and to help with pain," he said. "But these are different, these ones are called emotion potions," he said. "These potions allow you to feel different emotions," he said. "They are used for a variety of reasons," he said. "They can help some Trollans who have a hard time expressing their feelings to express them, or for Trollans who have a hard time telling what others are thinking or feeling, to help teach empathy, and to help teach little Trollans about feelings," he said. "But some do use them to mess with people and for other reasons," he said. "So just like with any potion, you need to be careful with them," he said. "Emotion potions and a variety of medical potions and ones for cooking and baking can be ingested and you need to be careful with those because sometimes they can cause a problem you might not expect," he said. "Andra, Damien I know you are assisting me with this so I hope you are getting what I am saying," he said.

"Yes potions can be dangerous," Damien said. "So do be careful," he said. "Also we should never take or use any potions you have or make without asking or telling you," he said. "Also if we need a certain potion from you don't make it ourselves, tell you what we need so you can make it safely and no one gets hurt from an accident," he said.

"Potions be careful right," Andra said her mind was else where.

"Very good," Orko said. "Now Damien are your ready to help with this demonstration?" he asked.

"Sure," Damien said.

Orko grabbed a bottle then he opened it and poured it into cups. "There we go," Orko said. "You ready?" he asked.

"Sure," Damien said.

The two of them drank the potion. "Okay you will see what this potion will do, it will make us both very angry at each other, because when an emotion potion shared by two or more people they share that same emotion," Orko said.

Then the potion activated. "I feel angry how about you?" Damien asked.

"Yes," Orko said. "Good work at listening to instructions," he said. Then gave him mean look. "Okay now that we are both angry I will stop the potion from working before something gets out of hand," he said and waved his wand.

Damien and Orko calmed down.

"Wow I never knew there were so many different kinds of potions and uses," Yuka asked. "I have question what will happen if a person drinks both parts of an emotion potion that was going to be shared?" he asked.

"That is good question," Orko said. "If a person is foolish enough to drink both halves of an emotion potion that is going to be shared, the person will feel that feeling of the potion towards themselves and sometimes things you might not expect might happen when they feel that feeling towards themselves," he said. "So in other words it is a good idea to pay attention when using any kind of potion that you split to share whether it is an emotion potion, or any other kind of potion, because if you drink both halves it can cause you a few problems," he said.

"Okay good to know," Yuka said.

Soon Damien and Andra left the room. Andra was distracted and thinking about other things. "You okay Andra?" Damien asked. "Your mind seems else where," he said.

"I am thinking about Caleb he is this boy I like and I want him to love me and we can be together," Andra said. "But I don't think he notices me," she said.
