Chapter 45 Andra's Sticky situation

Andra came into the lab and saw Damien working on something. It was his stick trap machine he perfected several months back. "Damien why are you working on that again?' Andra asked. "I thought it worked well?" Andra asked.

"It does," Damien said. "But unfortunately the sticky trap glue it originally had, Skeletor and his goons found away to get out of it now," he said. "So now I have to make a new and better version of the sticky trap glue to get them out of it," he said.

"That sounds like a bother," Andra said.

"It is and I am working an many different formulas at the moment," Damien said.

"Maybe I can help," Andra said.

"Thanks Andra," Damien said.

They were working on the adhesive and Andra was helping out. "Damien mind coming with me for a bit to the forest I could use a hand," Man at Arms said.

"Of course," Damien said. "Andra mind trying to finish this up for me," he said. "Do be careful while adding ingredients to make this new adhesive. Because it could be very sticky and the adhesive will take long to dry and once it dries it allowed one to chip away at it and use things like strong rubbing alcohol to get free." he said.

"Of course," Andra said. Then once they left Andra went right to work at making the adhesive. "Ugh this is messy business and it is get over many things," she said. Then once the adhesive was made she began to test it with a fly that was buzzing a round the room and it worked. "Alright," she said. Then she spilled a bit of it and tried to clean it up. It got on the wash cloth and her hands and clothes now she was pretty sticky.

She went to put the wash cloth in the dirty clothes. Then she saw it was stuck to her hand. "Uh oh," Andra said. She knew she was need Damien's help. So she headed to the forest to find him.

Along the way leaves and branches were getting stuck to her. "Oh great," Andra said. "This is so frustrating," she said.

Then she heard something and turned around. "Look who we have here, Andra one of Man at arms apprentices," Evil Lynn said approaching. "I will take you and I know a big ransom will be paid for you," she said.

"You don't want to touch me right now," Andra said. "It is not a good idea," she said.

"You don't tell me what to do," Evil Lynn said. Then grabbed a hold of Andra's arm with her hand. "Hey what is going on I can't let go!" she said.

"I tried to tell you I am covered with super stick adhesive at the moment and now you are stuck me," Andra said. "You are going to be that way until we find Damien because it was his recipe for the adhesive," she said.

"Oh great stuck to you until we find that fellow apprentice of yours?" Evil Lynn asked. "Can't we head back to snake mountain and get it fix like my fellow warriors normally do with this stuff?" she asked.

"This is a new and improved version of it so you normal things to break down the adhesive won't work," Andra said. "So we have no choice but to find Damien," she said.

"Oh great," Evil Lynn said.

They started to walk around to find Damien. "Hey slow down," Evil Lynn said.

"How about you walk faster?" Andra said. Andra saw a predator Grizzlor approaching and she blasted at it to scare it away as it charged at them.

"Humph you must think that this might solve your problem?" Evil Lynn asked. "Why must you always cause us so much trouble," she said.

"You are the ones who cause us trouble," Andra said. "You guys cause us a whole slew of problems," she said. "Causing horrible magic and other things to hurt us can't you think of anything but your own spoiled and selfish desires?" she asked.

"If I was anything as younger child spoiled wasn't one of them," Evil Lynn said. "I hade mother and a father. My mother was the one who taught me most of my magic spells," she said. "While my father was a man with a bad drinking problem, he would get violent with my mother and I and attack us because drinking made him aggressive," she said. "He would beat us on a regular basis," she said. "Then one night he got too violent and killed my mother in front of me and went after me shouting and yelling, that is when I ran away from home and didn't look back" she said. "I kept the magic book my mother gave me and a wand that belong to my ancestor," she said. "I was sad and fearful, I wondered what would become of me," she said. "When I was thirteen a few years back I was tired and hungry trying my best to survive. Skeletor and his warriors found me and took me in," she said. "They gave me a roof over my head, a bed and food," she said. "Skeletor and the warrior never beat me like my father did, the worst Skeletor ever had me punished me with was to clean his monster pets cages," she said. "So in other words don't ever call me spoiled," she said.

"I never knew," Andra said.

"Well now you do," Evil Lynn said. "I wasn't born evil like most of you think, but I was born into a hard life, sometimes this what hard life does to you," she said.

"If it makes you feel any better I had a hard life too," Andra said. "My dad had a stroke when I was six and had a drastic change in personality, he was already having a hard time since my mother was killed when a man robbed her when I was three. He went crazy and one day I came home found out he committed suicide," she said. "After that my aunt took me in, some of my kids said if I hadn't been born my parents would be alive and one called me bad luck Andra and I was wondering if my family thought that," she said. "But they didn't, my aunt told me those kids were being mean and those things that happened were beyond my control," she said. "So I had a hard childhood too," she said. "So a hard life doesn't always make you a bad person," she said. "Just so you know Evil Lynn people can change for good or bad," she said. "I met many good friends who turned into bad people eventually and see many bad people turn good," she said. "You can always break the bad cycle you went through with your parents and evil warriors, whatever you do it is your choice," she said.

"You know out of the heroic warriors you seem to know my pain," Evil Lynn said.

They managed to find Man at arms and Damien. "What on Eternia is going on?" Man at arms asked.

"It's kind of a long story," Andra said. She explained about the adhesive and how Evil Lynn got stuck her and finding them.

"Well luckily for you too while I was out here I had a new thing to break down the new adhesive in case this happened," Damien said. He began to use and they heard something. A huge Tree Stalker attacked.

"Look out!" Evil Lynn said and blasted it away with the one thing it hated loud noise spells.

"Thank you," Man at arms said in surprise.

"Don't consider it an act of kindness, Andra saved me from being attack by Grizzlor after we got stuck together so consider it repayment for that favor," Evil Lynn said.

"Fair enough," Man at arms said.

Then Evil Lynn and Andra were freed. "That should do it," Damien said

"Well next time we see each other we will be enemies, nothing more or less," Evil Lynn said. "Andra just so you know I now know that sometimes you can find empathy from any situation you have from anyone even a foe," she said and left.

"What is she talking about?" Damien asked.

"Let's just say we both knew what it was like to have a rough early childhood," Andra said.

"Now let's head back to the palace," Man at arms said.

"Good thinking," Damien said.

"Hi in today's story you saw how Evil Lynn and Andra had to get along while trying to find Damien to get help," Man at arms said. "Sometimes under certain circumstances even people who don't like each other can be civil," he said.
