There was a knock at the door. Casey had gone to answer the door for April, she was sitting by her mother's bed. When she'd gone to check on Leo after Mikey's call, they'd found several more fractures.

It turns out she'd been crushed by some falling debris, not only did she break her arm, but her leg and a few ribs. April had found her mother in the hospital, someone had taken her there so the doctors could tend to her injuries. April had yet to find them and thank them.

Her mother although released was on bed rest. Well by April's command at least, she was allowed to go around the apartment with crutches if she didn't push it. April didn't allow it.

Her mother had taken care of her, her entire life, it was now her turn to return the favor. April never knew her Dad, she knew of him. But never him, apparently he'd died before she was born.

That was fine, as far as she was aware, the turtles were her brothers, and splints was her father. Thinking of them currently hurt her. She couldn't handle the idea of Leo possibly dying on that bed. Resulting in her rarely visiting. Besides her mother needs her.

Casey didn't have much time to drop by either. He had years of education to catch up on, Cass had found a way to enroll her son in high school. Whether she'd robbed a bank or not April didn't care.

CJ was doing surprisingly well in school, he'd told April that he was close with Donnie growing up. Maybe Donnie taught him? Casey was living with April, as her apartment was the closest to his school.

He would probably be living with the turtles or Cass, but he'd told April that, he'd lost Leo once, and wasn't ready to lose him again. With Cass? April wasn't sure. But Cassandra would stop by to hang out with CJ. Casey was always happy to see her, a bit of a Mama's boy if you asked April.

They spend heaps of time together despite him living here. Their apartment had miraculously survived the attack, but many of the apartments in this building didn't. Or they were covered in rubble. Even some of the upper floors didn't exist anymore. The owners doing their best to restore the building.

Casey popped his head back into the room. "Uhh commander O'Neil-" He began, as April rose her eyebrow, as much as she'd liked the idea of being called commander at first. The amount Casey used it towards her began to annoy her. "Sorry, sorry, habit... April" he corrected.

"What's up Case?"

"There's someone here to see you" He stated, "Do you want them to leave?" He asked.

"Who is it?" If it was Donnie, it was probably an update on Leo, but if so why didn't he text? Was something wrong?

"Master Michelangelo" He answered, Mikey? Why was he here? She'd been avoiding all of them, because not only was her mother injured and needed care, but because one of her brothers was in a coma.

So much had happened, so much that was taking a slow toll on her, she didn't visit because, if she didn't it felt like maybe Leo wasn't in a coma... That he was awake, and there was no need to worry. That it was all in her head.

But when she visited... "No, that's ok bring him in" she said, maybe it was time to stop avoiding her brothers.

Casey walked out, eventually followed by the small turtle's entrance. He looked awful, his eyes were slightly bloodshot, as if he'd been crying a lot. He seemed smaller but not by weight or height, but by the way he held himself.

There were small bags under his eyes, he seemed tired as well. Oh Mikey. What had she missed during her time away?

"Hey April" His voice was normal. When he'd seen her a small smile crept onto his features. She knew Donnie had been staying up but had Mikey also been staying up?
