I stepped out of the closet after changing into my oversized t-shirt and pajamas. I had my dinner after the cook he assigned, brought the same to the room. Though the room was huge, I felt suffocated.

A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts and a message showed on my screen from his number.

Monotonous Being: Open the door.

With a few quick strides, I unlocked the door. He strode past me, shedding his coat as he headed to the closet. I closed the door and sat on the bed, grabbing my phone. Maa called me a few hours back but I didn't extend the call for more than a minute.

I turned on the data as he specifically asked me not to use Raghuvanshi's wifi connection when he visited a few hours back with his rule book.

The door clicked open and my eyes averted to the closet finding him entering the room wearing a grey t-shirt with black sweatpants.Grey seemed to be his favorite colour.

His hand held a gun, making my fingers curled into a fist. Anxiety spread through my body.

"Why did you..... bring a.... gun?" I stammered, watching as he placed it in the drawer.

"For safety."

"Will this gun stay with us in this room?" I asked, grabbing a pillow.

He nodded.

It was a real gun but he reacted as if he brought a toy gun to play with it. The 'M' in his name meant for Mystery.

"By tomorrow morning, this room will get its wifi connection. Till then, you can use this." He offered a portable WiFi dongle.

"Thank you but I've got enough data left for today," I said, keeping my eyes glued to the phone screen.

I watched him ascend the stairs leading to his study. "Won't you sleep? If yes, then I'll take the couch." I asked loudly and my voice radiated in the room.

"I'll manage it. Good night." I heard him.

Placing the phone on the nightstand, I pulled up the comforter and turned off the light. Sleep eluded me and I checked the time on the phone. It read 1.15 am. I turned to find the space empty beside me. Turning on the night light, I found him asleep on the couch positioned next to the window. I removed the comforter and approached him.

"Mr. Raghuvanshi,"

His eyes fluttered open. "Kya hua?"

"It must be uncomfortable for you to sleep on this. We can divide the bed into two parts by placing the pillows in between."

"No, Pankti. You can sleep without being bothered by me." He got up and stretched his arms.

"Don't be stubborn. It's your room. Get up and do as I say." I picked up the pillows from the couch and arranged them to create a makeshift barrier dividing the bed into two sections.
