Training with the entire class was definitely hectic. Not only was everyone so painfully enthusiastic and energetic, but they were also loud as hell, and while Izuku appreciated that, he could still recognise that it was painful to deal with.
Todoroki didn't join then as he trained with his father and studies alone.
Izuku trained everyone with basic hand to hand combat and helped them choose what weapons suited them best for combat, telling them that it was a great idea to add those weapons to their hero suits when they decide to update them.
That was the case with practical practice. The studying wasn't as bad, though it was definitely not perfect.
Everyone was still loud, but it was less crowded as most of the students with good marks decided on studying on their own, beside those who had specific questions. They went to get those answered before continuing to study solely.
So, the 3 days of written exams passed, with most of the students finishing with cheers and happy tears as they thanked each other and Izuku, who just smiled at them brightly.
"I think he's an amazing friend and a really bright soul, but he's really scary when he snaps!" Mina had told her friends.
"Yeah. After studying, he mentioned that he'd love to have music sessions with me so that u can help him learn more about musical tools and whatnot. He's so interesting." Jirou answered.
"He's also really smart combat wise. I think I learned more in the past week than I did in years when it came to combat and battle confidence." Momo added
Izuku, who was on the guy's side of the changing room had managed to catch glimpses of that they were talking about, but he didn't ever bring it up, not wanting to feel like a creep who was eavesdropping.
A day after the written exams were done, the students all stood in the centre plaza with the teachers standing in front of them with Nezu.
Everyone was talking about the exam being against robots, according to students from the higher classes.
"We're fighting the teachers. Dad told me." Izumo mumbled to his brother, shocking the latter.
"He told me yesterday and told me that we will be paired up against him." The boy added.
Izuku let out a sigh before nodding. Of course, he had to be unlucky enough to deal with that crap.
"This year's test is going to be completely different." Nezu finally announced as he jumped off of Aizawa's shoulder.
The entire class was taken in shock at that. "It will, of course, be hero work. However, it will also be teamwork and combat between actual people, which means that you students will be working together in teams of 2 against one of the teachers!" Nezu finally said, receiving sounds of shock and fear.
"Your partners and opponents have already been chosen. They were determined via different factors, including fighting styles, grades, and personal relationships." Aizawa added as he went on to state the teams.
"Yaoyorozu and Todoroki will be paired together against me. Izuku and Izumo will be parked together. They will be fighting against -" Aizawa's speech stopped as All-Might jumped down in front of everyone, startling them.
Shouts of shock and protest arose at that. "Sir, how could you ever put someone against the symbol of peace?! That's impossible!" Momo spoke up.
"I fear you might be right. However, the students against him have great powers that I believe put them in the Sam's field, if not higher." Nezu answered, shocking the students and teachers alike.
"B-but -" Iida was cut off by Izuku spreading his wings.
"Am I allowed to go all out?" He asked.
A sinister smirk emerged on Nezu's face before he spoke. "Sure thing, young Izuku." He answered.
Everyone stared with fear at the man's answer and smir, but Izuku just nodded.
"Let's do this, Zumo." He spoke, receiving a nod.
"I'll five you your space and fight from far away. It's not like 8 perfect full cowling will do anything." Izumo said, receiving a nod.
"You'll know when to step in, but I'll make sure that you're not getting hurt, big brother." Izuku said with a smile.
With that, Aizawa continued stating the exams while Izuku and Izumo got ready.
They were the tenth team, which meant that they had as much time as they needed to get ready.
"In order to make it fair considering the difference in powers, the teachers will be given compressed weights that would add half of their body weights to their physiques to slightly eat up at their stamina." Nezu added.
Izuku scoffed at that as he glared at All-Might.
"We need no handicaps to defeat you." Izumo stated with a smirk.
"I'd like to see that, young Yagi." The man answered with a smirk of his own.
Izuku just rolled his eyes and walked away. They either had to defeat All-Might or run away while be chased them. The latter wasn't even a choice. He wanted to take the man down and prove himself.
Izuku headed to the watching room to watch the exams, followed by Izumo and Ururaka, whose teammate, Aoyama, was busy with himself and was incapable of planning with her.
The exams were exciting, to say the least, as Izuku explained to the two the problems that their friends had done while also talking about how he and Izumo could defeat All-Might.
Kirishima and Sato were taken down in a matter of few minutes.
Tsu and Tokoyami defeated Ectolasm by using tricks. More specifically, by running and by Tsu swallowing handcuffs to cuff the hero and defeat him.
The rest of the exams continued with everyone passing beside Kaminari and Mina, who Nezu managed to defeat and stall until the time was over.
It took hours before everyone was done, and it was the twin's chance to finally shine.
They headed to the fake city where their exam would be taking place and locked eyes with the hero.
"NOW FOR THE LAST BATTLE OF THE LAST EXAM, WE HAVE THE TWINS AGAINST ALL-MIGHT." Mic, who had lost against his students, returned to announcing.
The 2 boys smirked, and Izuku specifically seemed to keep his smirk from ear to the other.
"START IN 3, 2, AAAND 1!" Mic shouted.
All-Might alongside everyone else stared in confusion as the teens stood still, not moving a muscle.
"Full angel, activate."
