"cat fight"

Anastasia was currently in Nick Fury's office retrieving a file he asked for her to get. It was pathetic how much S.H.I.E.L.D. trusted her at this point. Though she's only been with them for a few months now, she was rising in importance more and more every day.  As soon as she retrieved the file she noticed something else. A small drawer with a touch screen on it. She tried to open it but had no such luck.

As she tried her best to try to break in, footsteps were heard outside of the door before it quickly swung open. Anastasia stood up quickly at the sound.

"Hello, Agent Smith." Natasha said at the sight of the woman. "What are you doing in here?"

Anastasia put a small smirk on her face, "Hello, Agent Romanoff. I'm just grabbing documents that Fury has asked me to give to Agent Hill." She picked up the file from where it was previously sitting on the desk and walked over to the redhead in front of her. "Why do you ask?"

"According to Fury you've been an Agent here for a while. I have too yet I have never noticed you before. You think I would hence the fact you're so young." Natasha said stepping closer.

"Well I try my best to not get in others way," Anastasia said, stepping to the side to walk past her.

Before she could continue walking Natasha put her hand out, "You can do that later. I want you to come with me."

Anastasia clenched her jaw at her words but allowed her self to fake a smile instead. "If you insist." She followed the woman in front of her until they reached the room that Dr. Banner and Tony Stark were working in. When the two walked in at the same time as Thor, the two scientists along with Steve Rodgers were in a very heated conversation with Nick Fury.

"I was wrong director," Steve said as soon as they entered the room. "The world hasn't changed a bit."

"Did you know about this?" Bruce asked both Natasha and Anastasia.

The former only responded, ignoring the question, with, "You want to think about removing yourself from this environment, Doctor?"

"I was in Calcutta. I was pretty well removed." Bruce retorted.

"Loki is manipulating you." Natasha said, stepping closer to the man as she spoke.

"And you've been doing what, exactly?" Bruce said. Anastasia watched the scene in front of her unfold, they were destroying themselves from the inside. She stayed quiet as she thought out a plan to possibly distract them for a little longer, hoping she could go back to Fury's office.

Natasha spoke again, "You didn't come here because I bat my eyelashes at you."

"Yes, and I'm not leaving because suddenly you get a little twitchy," Bruce spoke back. "I'd like to know why S.H.I.E.L.D. is using the tesseract to build weapons of mass destruction."

"Because of him." Nick Fury pointed to Thor causing everyone to look at him confused.

"Last year, Earth had a visitor from another planet who had a grudge match that leveled a small town." Fury explained. "We learned that not only are we not alone, but we are hopelessly, hilariously, outgunned." Anastasia contemplated what she was hearing. She made mental notes to remember this information for later searching she would do.
