"Despite the devastation of what has been confirmed as an extraterrestrial attack, the extraordinary heroics of the group known as the Avengers has been to many a cause not only for comfort, but for celebration." The news reporter said.

Anastasia walked beside Natasha as she met back with Avengers, adjusting her new blouse and pants. They all watched as the tesseract was placed in the custody of Thor along with him taking Loki back to their home planet. And with that the two disappeared.

They all said their goodbyes before Anastasia got in the back of the car with Clint and Natasha in the front seats. They were on their way back to the S.H.I.E.L.D. base before their well deserved break.

Anastasia was back in Nick Fury's office picking up her gun that she left there a few days before from her and Natasha's fight. When she entered she quickly picked up the gun which was behind his desk.

Going to pick it up she noticed the same drawer she was interested in before, this time it was unlocked and open. Curiosity got the best of her as she looked inside to see a file. Picking it up she opened it to see: THE AVENGERS INITIATIVE. She continued to flip through it, she saw each Avenger's details in it. She skimmed through them all individually.

Turning to the last page she saw a page of herself. It was a picture of her with all of her information. Confusion hit her as she wondered where they could have got this information due to it being completely wiped the second she stepped foot into the Red Room and even more when she was taken by Hydra. She curiously read the document, wondering what could possibly be on it.

Anastasia continued to read, there was a full in depth description of her down at the bottom of the page. Nervousness took over as she continued to read. How did they know this? And why is she called 'The Serpent'?

She was getting to freaked out so she put everything back and set the file back in the drawer. All of a sudden, a realization hit. She was always supposed to be apart of the Avengers. That son of a gun knew the whole time! she thought.

Quickly she stood up to find Natasha standing in the doorway with her arms crossed. "What are you doing in here?" she asked.

"Getting my gun," Anastasia smiled slightly.

"You know curiosity kills the cat," Natasha smirked.

The younger girl only smirked back, "Yeah, well, satisfaction brought it back."

Natasha just rolled her eyes with a smile, "Come on, we gotta leave now."

Anastasia was going to be staying with Natasha for the time being since she had no real home at the moment. The girl was excited for this new part of her life. For this new adventure. But most importantly, she was excited to be able to find herself. To truly find herself.

this is kind of just a fun little end chapter. well we wrapped up the avengers (2012) which is exciting (except we still have a post-credit scene but shhh) anyways thanks so so so much for reading!!! 💞
