Hi my sweet readers and friends,
Although some of you may have seen on my profile, I felt I should make a little chapter toward the beginning of this story to let new readers know that I will not be writing past Season 3 of OBX for this story. While it was a tough decision because I wanted to give Chayse and the rest of the characters that I have specifically written deeper for KG a full and complete story, I feel with what I have heard and seen from S4 that the writing of the actual show doesn't give me anything to work with for the future of my characters. I love this story with my entire being and I won't destroy my writing for the sake of someone else's shitty writing. Sorry.
If you're a friend of mine or someone who's active on my a03 account, you'd know that I started film school last year specifically for Television Production, and as I learn and grow with my knowledge and experience with television and the film industry in general, I strongly feel that the writers of OBX have fully massacred the story and plot of the show for nothing but fan service and a cash grab at this point. I won't give spoilers, because I'm not at liberty to and the wound of this season is very fresh for many people. I decided not to write S4 because I didn't agree with how the first part went, and I certainly won't be writing it after hearing about the train wreck that was part two.
In conclusion, while it'll take a while, Kilby Girl will end with season three of the show. Be wary if you're just starting to read!
