Chapter 26 - Stephanie

It is now lunchtime here in Bangladesh. This means that the rush is going to start soon. This also means that the plan will start soon. I really do want the plan to go ahead, don't get me wrong, but half of my still feels doubt about it and I am scared to be honest. I mean, what if the plan doesn't work? What if no one believes that Lee is me? What if they realise that I am not Lee? Just keep calm I thought to myself. This was easier said than done.

I walked myself slowly up to the 'prison' door and ran my cold spine down it. Faintly, I could hear the movement of shoes against the floor and I can hear small conversations about what food would be served at lunch and pay rises. It must be the lunch rush coming to get me. Quickly, I jumped up and reached for my large pink suitcase and dug through it. I remember packing a baggy denim blue coloured top in case I got cold, so I was hunting for that. Eventually I found it hidden within my black leggings and crops tops and then I changed into it as quickly as I could. I also wore my brown jeggings and black converse shoes with a hole where the big toe is so you could see my bare feet. I then realised that I have to look like Lee and he has massive holes in his clothes and dirt covering his scratched face. I couldn't scratch my face, because that would last longer and someone would find out what had happened, however I can cut holes and use the dirty diseased-full water to cover my face and body. That should hopefully work. With that, I reached for the miniature nail scissors  in my manicure set and began to cut away steadily (a couple of times though, I cut my chest and stomach and blood flowed through onto the top and stained. It would be terrible to wash out when I get home and mum and dad would ask me questions. No teenager should have to go through the questioning). Anyway, I then rushed my way to the taps in my room. I disliked them as they are shielded with mould and bacteria. It was disgusting. Also, the water that travels out of the tap is not much different. The water (or what remains or it) is full of pests and mud. You can even smell the filth, it is that strong. But I have to do this, I would probably end up with an illness, but it will be worth it. After that, I started the tap and careful watched the slime ooze out from the tap. It was horrible. When it filled up, I reached hands into the water and pushed it in the direction of my face. The water itself was quite cold and refreshing but I could feel the bits stick to my face. I cannot believe people have to drink this daily just to survive.

Anyway, now I look like I belong here, I tied back my fuzzy hair with a black hair band and put a cap over it. It was the only thing at the time that I could use to cover up my hair and it would protect my eyes so no one would recognize me.

I better get going before Mrs Potter calls in on me. I hope that Lee has left.

Chapter 27 - Lee

Lunchtime rush has just started and I have left my cell to go to Stephanie's room. At that moment, I was wearing what I normally wear (ripped top and muddy trousers) and when I get to my destination, I will see if I can fit into any of her clothes. I pray that not all of them are tight fit.

The hallways were really crowded during the rush. There were people pushing each other angrily and then there were people yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs. It felt like living in hell. I reached the halfway point in my journey and I caught Stephanie running towards my direction.

"Stephanie!" I shouted to her, but she didn't reply at first. Then she dragged me to the side and covered my mouth with her soft hands that were covered in dirt. (She must have used the sink in her room).

"Lee..." She whispered down my ear hole. "I am suppose to be undercover, so people don't know who I really am. Do you understand that?"

"Yes I do, one question though, what should I wear?" I asked her.
