Inside the C.D.C Adelaide was standing up against the wall close to her father but not next to him, she wasn't sure if she'd manage to convince her dad to let the people out before the clock hits zero tomorrow but she was sure as hell going to give it her best shot after all she had managed to convince her father to let them in with the help of the shouting man outside.
Sienna and Aubrey were close to Lori, Carl, Carol and Sophia as they enter the building,
"Daryl, you cover the back." Shane said to Daryl as they begun to enter the building
"Hello? Hello" Rick called out in more like a question, Adelaide looked to her father who was holding a gun, A rifle to be exact.
"Close those doors. Watch for walkers." Dale said to the Daryl who was at the back of the group.
"Hello?" Rick asked again. Aubrey noticed Adelaide first, the girl looked friendly unlike the man who she assumed to be the girls father.
"Anybody infected?" Jenner asked looking at the group. Sienna had an off feeling about the man, he made her feel uneasy but this place was safe, it had to be.
"One of our group was. He didn't make it." Rick answered, the guilt Sienna had felt leaving Jim struck her again just like the nausea.
"Why are you here? What do you want?" Sienna frowned as the man spoke, she wished he would just introduce himself already.
"A chance." Adelaide knew what her dad was about to say to Rick, what he says about anything these days. Sienna just wanted a chance too but she had this weird feeling it had something wasn't right.
"That's asking an awful lot these days." Jenner tells him causing Adelaide to roll her eyes at him
"Seriously Dad" the girl rolled her eyes leaning against the doorframe running her hand through hair. Jenner gave her a look she knew all too well, the look that tells her to shut up, she was used to it, used to her dad practically hating her, sometimes she even hated herself, she blamed herself for her sister's death and she knew her father did too.
"I know." Rick answered, Adelaide watched as her dad looked at the group, she did too as she looked at the children, she wondered what they had seen out there, they must have been through a lot, Adelaide could tell that much especially because they all looked tired.
"You all submit to a blood test. That's the price of admission." Jenner told the group. Adelaide saw worry in a girls face, like she was scared while Rick agreed "We can do that."
"You got stuff to bring in, you do it now. Once this door closes it stays closed. Jenner tells the group, Adelaide mimicked her father making the kids smile, two of them were surely older than her, maybe even the same age as her but the one gripping onto her mother, Aubrey was younger, Adelaide knew that, she wasn't sure how she knew, she just did. Adelaide stood at the elevator waiting for everyone,
