Sienna and Lori arrive in the big room with all the consoles in. Sienna looked over to the clock on the wall, it was counting down but was what Adelaide had said true, the two women were just in time for Jenner's explanation to what is going on with the world,
"Give me a playback of TS-19." Jenner began, Aubrey moved over to Sienna and took her hand with a smile.
"Playback of TS-19." VI the robotic computers voice began. Sienna heard some beeping as she watched the screen,
"Few people ever got a chance to see this. Very few." Jenner vegans Sienna saw that on the screen came a 3D view of a humans brain. She'd seen enough scans to know that it was a brains
"Is that a brain?" Carl asked
"Yeah" Sienna sighed, the woman had a fascination for neuro so she knew a little about the brain.
"An extraordinary one. Not that it matters in the end. Take us in for E.I.V." Jenner said and the complete said "Enhanced internal view." Sienna was well in her element as she looked at the screen, it was showing the shoulders and the head of the person who was the subject. There were more details as Sienna watched the lights going round, they were what made that person who they were
"What are those lights?" Shane asked
"It's a person's life, experiences, memories. It's everything. Somewhere in all that organic wiring, all those ripples of light, is you, the thing that makes you unique and human." Jenner said, Sienna saw Daryl was confused, so was Aubrey
"You don't make sense ever?" Daryl asked
"Basically it's what makes you, you." Sienna points out in a way Daryl and Aubrey would understand.
"Those are synapses. Electric impulses in the brain that carry all the messages. They determine everything a person says does or thinks from the moment of birth to the moment of death." Jenner then explained, he hadn't realised that his daughter had just entered the room. She hadn't seen this but she knew it was her mom.
"Death? That's what this is, a vigil?" Rick asked jenner told the group "Yes. Or rather the playback of the vigil."
"This person died? Who?" Andrea asked. Beside Carol Adelaide whispered "my mom" she didn't say it too loud but Carol heard and put her arm around the girl, Adelaide was truly grateful for the small comfort, she never got it from her dad.
"Test subject 19. Someone who was bitten and infected... and volunteered to have us record the process. VI, Scan forward to the first event." Jenner said not giving anything away but Sienna had her suspicions.
"Scanning to first event." Vi spoke. Sienna realised that the brain was now dead, it wasn't like it was before, the person had came back after death but they weren't them, they didn't have the bright lights coursing through their brain.
"What is that?" Glenn asked
"It invades the brain like meningitis. The adrenal glands hemorrhage, the brain goes into shutdown, then the major organs. Then death. Everything you ever were or ever will be...gone." Jenner told the group, Sienna was trying so hard not to cry as her emotions strike her. Sienna and Aubrey move closer to Andrea who she could tell was crying now too, gently Sienna took Andrea's hand gently, Jenner seemed to notice and looked at the two of them as well as Aubrey.
