The day had come—the day everyone had been waiting for. The exam results were about to be announced, and there was an air of nervous anticipation hanging over Class 1-A. Y/N, sitting with her friends, couldn't help but feel the weight of the moment. She had studied hard for this, but there was still a part of her that feared the worst.
Aizawa entered the room, his usual tired expression in place as he stood at the front of the class, holding a stack of papers. "I'll make this quick," he said, his voice rough but efficient. "These are the results of your final exams. You either pass or fail. If you pass, you get to go to the training camp. If you fail..." He let the sentence hang in the air for a moment. "You'll have to attend summer school. But regardless of the results, no one is giving up on you. That's the way of a hero."
With that, he began handing out the papers, one by one. Y/N's heart was pounding as she reached for hers, the paper trembling slightly in her hands. She unfolded it quickly, scanning it for the results.
Passed.
A wave of relief washed over her, and she let out the breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding. She smiled to herself, finally feeling like she could breathe easy.
As Aizawa continued to hand out the papers, the room's atmosphere shifted. Some students cheered, others sighed in relief, while a few looked disappointed, including Mina, Kirishima, and Kaminari. Y/N glanced at them, her smile fading slightly. The three of them looked down at their papers, each of their faces falling as they realized they hadn't passed.
"Don't worry about it!" Y/N called out, trying to lighten the mood. "You guys will totally catch up! We'll study together. It's not the end of the world."
Kaminari gave a sheepish smile. "Yeah, I guess I just wasn't... electric enough for the exam."
Mina laughed weakly, though it didn't quite reach her eyes. "I thought I had it, but I guess I missed the mark."
Kirishima grinned, though it seemed more like a nervous attempt to stay positive. "I'll get 'em next time. No big deal, right?"
Aizawa cleared his throat again, getting everyone's attention. "But, there is one important thing to note. Even if you failed, all of you are still going to the training camp. It's part of the curriculum."
"Wait, really?" Kaminari asked, blinking in surprise.
"That's right," Aizawa confirmed. "The camp is for everyone. The ones who failed will have an opportunity to catch up and improve. It's all part of the learning experience."
Y/N smiled, relieved. It was a huge weight off their shoulders. Despite failing the exam, her friends still had the opportunity to push themselves and train hard, just like everyone else.
The class gathered together outside after the results, their minds racing about what would happen at the training camp. The conversation turned to how they would prepare for the challenges ahead, and Y/N found herself talking to Mina, Kirishima, and Kaminari, reassuring them once again that everything would be fine.
"You guys are still going to crush it at the camp, no problem!" Y/N said, clapping Kaminari on the back. "I know you'll do great."
Mina grinned. "Yeah, yeah, thanks for the pep talk. I just gotta put more effort into my studying for summer school."
"Don't worry, I'm here to help you!" Y/N said, giving her a playful wink. "We can all study together. You've got this."
Kirishima nodded in agreement. "Yeah! Summer school is just another step. We'll be ready."
Bakugo, who had been standing a little further away with his usual gruff expression, suddenly turned around to face them. He grunted and walked over to the group.
