I'M Just a Human

Why

Leah took Elizabeth to her office. She was so quiet as always and just looking around. She knows that spending time with leah it means that she had to use all her brain cells to find an understanding of something that she doesn't even have any idea about it. In a better way, Elizabeth had to force herself to think like an adult. That's what leah wants her to do. So she was ready for another rough time with her.

Leah: So Elizabeth, I wanna be honest with you, you are going to see the real world which we hide it from you. I'm going to start by answering your questions. Tell me about your thoughts.

Elizabeth: When I haven't seen anything, how can I have questions?

Dr. leah: That wasn't the answer that I expected. But you are right, see because of that I love you so much, you are super amazing and smart, you are 7 years old physically but your mental age ? i don't know how far you can go by thinking.

OK, I will tell you how children should act at your age. In the world, there are millions of humans, with different faces, different personalities, different cultures, and different beliefs. The first thing you have to know is that all of us have a parent. Here is your first difference with others, you don't have any father or mother, and you are created in the lab. We made you.
Normal children who are in the same age as you, they like to play, they are just starting to learn alphabets, they have all the emotions, they will cry, they will laugh, they feel love. Again, you are different here, but remember you are different in a good way. You are special.

Now tell me what you wanna ask?

Elizabeth: I think now I know why everything is meaningless for me. I don't know what emotions are because I've seen liam, I've seen greedy scientists around myself in my entire life. I think if normal child with parents would grow the same way as me, he or she would be someone like me too.

Dr leah: You are wrong. You didn't even cry the day we took you out of the machine ! Since your first day, you were emotionless. And it is a good thing, my love, you won't feel any pain in your heart.

Elizabeth: Why are you telling me this now? Why do I have to know what the real world looks like?

Leah: Because you are going to see the people,  you are going to breathe an air without any filter, you are going to see a house. You need to know before you get shocked. 

Elizabeth: So far, whatever you said, I believe it wouldn't help me at all. I prefer to see it with my own eyes rather than listening to your useless explanation.

Then she went back to her room where Joe was waiting for her. She noticed from the looked of his eyes how worried he was. She pretended nothing happened and just acted as always. Without saying anything, she just went to her bed and slept.

At this time, Joe could guess that leah didn't show her just videos, and maybe she said stuff that Elizabeth didn't want to even say anything to him. So he decided to talk to leah again.

Dr joe: what did you say that she even didn't say anything to me, she is not that type of a person to ignore me when she knows I'm waiting for her to talk to me. 

Dr leah: I just talked to her directly,  I had a plan to start by making stories for her to make the understanding of this situation easier for her, but then I noticed she is not a normal kid. She can handle it, so I just told her everything.

Dr. joe: I'm wondering, have you ever in your life put yourself in her shoes to see how much pain she is tolerating?
Our mistake is that we never give her time to act like a child. This was the moment that you should consider her as a child who doesn't know anything and by making stories or pictures or whatever tell her how the world looks like.

Dr leah: If you know better than me, why were your mouth shut, and you were struggling to death to explain to her ? Come on, joe, you are always blaming everyone except yourself.
You created her. You were like liam before she got born, if you remember, or I should remind you? Can you please leave me alone now?

At this moment, joe was so disappointed at himself and everyone in the lab. He was so scared how Elizabeth is going to be in the future and how she could survive from their hands.
