I'M Just a Human

Today is the day

After that day, Elizabeth didn't say a word. She even stopped talking to joe. It looks like joe wasn't her safe place anymore, and she became super lonely. Today was the day that she wished she could trust joe as always, but after everything that leah told her, she felt like joe is responsible for her miserable life. What if joe stopped creating humans? Then, she would never get born to tolerate all that pain.
Now Elizabeth was feeling something new. She felt sad for the first time. She didn't know how to describe it, but it was like something in her chest was paining, and she didn't want to talk about this new feeling with joe anymore.

2 days after....

Leah, joe, and Elizabeth were sitting in the car, which Joseph sent to pick them up. Joe and Elizabeth were sitting in the back, and leah was at front.
This was the first time that Elizabeth saw them in the clothes other than that long white medical gown. 

After 2 hours of driving, they finally reache to Joseph House. Bodyguards were everywhere. One server opened the door for them and guided them to the hall until Joseph joined them. 

Mr Joseph( with a big smile on his face):
Oh my dear god, see who is here, finally I can meet her from close. I'm so happy to see you guys here. First of all, I have to thank you all for getting her ready in such a short time for today.

He looked at Elizabeth and continued:

Look at you, my beautiful girl, I believe she looks older than what I saw last week at the meeting. ( surprised face)

Dr leah : Hello Mr Joseph, we are so glad that we can see you in person after all these years. I have to say yes, she has become older, she is physically 10 year old now, we are not sure how she can grow up so fast, honestly I can tell after I tried to make her ready for this party, she starts to grow up faster, 2 weeks ago she was like a 7 years old kid but now she is 10.

Mr Joseph: And it was 3 years ago that you took her out of the machine, right?
Anyway, how do you feel Elizabeth right now? I'm so curious to hear about your thoughts and feelings. After all, today is your day, and you are going to see a lot of people, but I would like to let you know you are safe here. And feel free to let me know if you need to be alone after spending some time in the crowd.  Now tell me, what do you think ?

Elizabeth: I don't know how I should feel now, I just know everything is new to me, and I wanna know about it more, I don't know what feelings you expect from me to have but that's all I have in my mind.

Mr Joseph: Honestly, I didn't expect more than curiosity from you ( smile on his face). I know you can't feel anything, but I want to tell you I'm feeling so happy and excited now because of you, I want to thank you for surviving so far, and I will promise you after today you will starting a new chapter in your life, something that you can't imagine now. In a good way, though( laughing).
Joe, I need to talk to you. Can you join me in my office? Thank you.

In his office....

Mr Joseph: So one question, as her speed on growing is so fast, did you inject anything to slow it down? You know, like those injections that doctors used to inject to prevent puberty from happening in the young age ? Or anything like that ?

Dr Joe: we didn't inject anything until now for that because we wanted her to continue growing to find the reason for it. Also, we needed her brain to grow so we could teach her more stuff.

Mr Joseph: After today, you guys have to find a way to prevent her from growing up so fast. What if she becomes an old woman until next year? We don't want that, right? I don't want her to die soon. We didn't even use her so far. We are just teaching her. if we can't use what we thought her, then it is just a waste of money and time. And you said you want her to give birth to a baby, at what age of her do you want that to happen? What are your plans?

Dr joe: That was what leah wanted. I just want Elizabeth to become a spy and act like a normal human.

Mr Joseph: liam is a good person for stopping her from growing. I will let him know to do research on that. And I will talk to leah about it too. Thank you, Dr. Joe, I believe your job is done now. Today, Elizabeth will meet new people, and she will transfer here to live with me permanently.

Dr joe ( shouting): What do you mean by that? We have a lot of things to do, she needs us, I made her, I know her genes and everything about it, why you want to take her from us ?

Mr Joseph: Really, you think you know her ? ( laughing). Then why is she so lost now ? Why can't you understand what she is thinking or what she is going to do if she feels scared or feels she is in danger?
What exactly are you guys doing in that lab that she didn't have any progress in her personality, Dr. joe? ( shouting)

After a moment of silence ...

Dr. joe: I believe this is not a good time to talk about it. Everyone needs to be aware of your decision. After tonight, we can have a meeting to see what is best for her. I will go to join them now, see you there!
