confusion

Leah went to joe while she felt nervous and embarrassed.

Dr leah: Joe, I'm sorry that you have to find out like this, I don't know what to say, but whatever you heard, it was true.
Liam and I married together 1 year ago.
I don't know how I fell in love with him either, I think I just wanted to know that someone loves me forever, I felt like everyone hated me because of all the experiment that I've done. But liam was the first person who loved me and didn't care who I was in the past.

Dr joe: Why didn't you tell me about it before marrying him? Why does someone like Joseph have to know but not me? He is using your relationship to control you and take over everything that we built together.  I know we signed that contract, but if you would tell me, I would do everything until you have your life without anybody to understand it.
Tell me, is there anything else that I need to know? ( joe said it with the sad and worried face)

Dr leah: Please don't blame me or judge me, but I'm pregnant, I'm in the third month.  Liam doesn't know yet. Honestly, I don't know how to tell him, I don't know how he is going to react. 

Dr joe: leah! what the hell is wrong with you? ( shouting)
I thought I'm like your brother and you would tell me everything, do you know now you are in danger? Joseph is a psycho, Liam, as well. I'm so worried that you become their experiment target. You have good genes, Liam too, what if he wants to keep you in our lab to do research on you and your baby. 
As you know, Liam did experiment on himself too and tried to improve his body power in a different way. How do you want to run away if this happens?
Today, I didn't just lose Elizabeth, I'm losing you too.

Dr leah : So you know that what he asked me to do, right ?

Dr joe: Obviously, I know this guy. I put ourselves in such trouble, from beginning I shouldn't ask him to introduce Elizabeth to the world. I'm sorry, leah. But I promise we will handle this situation if you cooperate with me.

Dr leah : What do you want me to do? Quite my job?

Dr joe: No, even if you quit your job, they will come to you or your baby. The baby has improved genes now as liam.
First, you need to get a divorce from him, and second, you know what I wanna ask.

Dr leah : Are you crazy? We can't turn everything back as it was before by asking me to get a divorce or killing the baby!

Dr Joe: leah, now this is a good time to do that. He is busy with Elizabeth, and he doesn't give a shit about you. He just wants to take control over the project, but what if Joseph comes after you after Elizabeth? Anyway, you are the brain of the project. It's such an amazing target for him.

Dr. leah: i don't wanna think about anything now, I need time. Now, it's time to see what is going to happen to Elizabeth. He is asking me to give her to him. I had no option but to say yes.

Dr joe: Elizabeth, you heard everything, right? I'm sure he wouldn't hurt you. We are still trying to turn you back to the lab,  but I want you to understand for a while that I can't protect you, I'm so sorry for failing you. But we will find a way out to bring you back. All I'm asking is to just tolerate it for a while.

Elizabeth: I don't want to come back to that lab all the time. I was nothing to you guys. it's not new to me. I'm sure I'm safer here than inside of the lab with liam. Don't worry, joe.
