Who to trust?

After the part, Joseph and his douther ( emily) were discussing who would take care of her at his house and how they wanted to take over the project.
Leah and Joe were waiting until Joseph called them to his office. 

Mr Joseph: So, Dr. joe, did you tell Dr. leah about what I told you before?

Dr. leah : he told me everything, I should say I can't believe that those words belong to you, we reported everything to you, how could you say that we didn't take care of her properly? But I know why you said that. You want to keep her with yourself, so obviously you gonna say everything to convince everyone we didn't do our job correctly. That's not the good path you're taking. You are destroying the friendship and everything that we had if you take that path.

Mr Joseph: I see he told you everything( with a smile on his face). OK, let me be honest with you, during these time we didn't act like she was a human, and we treated with her like a lab ratt. Now, I want her to feel like she has a family and start working on her personality .The way that she replied to my douther question made it so obvious that she needed to learn a lot of things. Also, we will do research on how she can feel emotions. As a spy in the future, she need to find an understanding of emotions until she can fake them at the times that she need to. You can come and visit whenever she wants. Otherwise, I'm telling you now, as long as she is not asking about you guys, I won't let you disturb her.

Dr leah : Then how do you want to stop her from ageing? You won't let us get close to her. You are saying we treat her like she is an animal, but you want to let liam to his test on her? Are you out of your mind, Mr Joseph?

Mr Joseph: I won't tell you to watch your language because I know how angry you can be right now, but I'm telling you respectfully I can control your husband, don't worry about it. I'm just using his knowledge, and I won't let him go so far.

Leah was shocked when she heard that Joseph called liam as her husband. Nobody knew about their relationship until now.

Dr. joe: I think i heard something wrong. Did you call Dr liam as leah husband?
You're wrong, Mr Joseph. At the beginning of this project, we signed a contract that nobody is allowed to have a relationship more than a coworker with the other scientist due to the fact that their feelings can affect the whole project.

Mr Joseph: I think it's better to ask leah if you don't believe me.

Dr leah: joe, can you please leave us alone for a second?

Dr joe: leah, is that true? ( surprised face).

Dr leah: Just leave us alone for a second.

Joe, without saying anything, just put his head down and left the office until they can talk, but it was so obvious from his face that he was still in shock and he didn't want to accept that maybe Mr Joseph claim can be true.

Mean while in the office.....

Dr leah: How dare you to investigate in my life without me knowing? ( angry tone)

Mr Joseph: I should do that, I had no option. Otherwise, you wouldn't let me keep Elizabeth here.

Dr leah : And now, how do you think I'm going to agree with that?

Mr Joseph: By knowing the fact that you don't want to get fired from this project after all the hard work that you have done. I know it's been a year and a half that you guys are married. Exactly the time that joe won't let anyone get close to her, and you guys had nothing to do rather than talking and chit-chating about everything . I understand you weren't allowed to leave the lab, and you guys had only each other, but I'm confused about how that psycho could attract you and then marry you and now you are having her baby? You hated him , everybody knows that, but how ?

Leah was so quiet and shocked that he knew every single detail of her relationship with liam. Even liam still doesn't know about leah pregency , so how does this guy know that? She could guess that his scientists reported their relationship to him, but what about the baby? Finally, she could open her mouth and speak:

" How do you understand about my pregnancy? "

Mr Joseph: One month ago, you took day off and asked the driver to drop you at the pharmacy in the town near the lab, I was so curious that what exactly they don't have at the lab pharmacy that leah is looking for it so badly that she took a risk and asked the driver to drove 2 hours just for a pharmacy? Also, when you sat in the car after five minutes,  you had nothing in your hand, so that makes my curiosity more so. I sent my people to investigate what happened on that day, and guess what, they found out you went all the way there to buy baby check . Woww I'm impressed ( laughing).
Honestly, I thought you and Joe had something together, but then when I noticed it is liam, I should say I didn't expect that at all.

While leah was panicking from how easily he could find everything out and he acted like he didn't know anything, she started to talk, and she tried to keep her appearance and her confidence. She knows that if she shows a little weakness, this wolves will tear her apart, and now she is not alone. Her child is in danger, too.

Leah : I know what you want from me. You want me to accept your request and let Elizabeth stay here. I won't ask you what will happen if I deny your request as I know the consequences of it. I will give up, and you can have her, but please keep my relationship as a secret. This is all I'm asking for.( she said it while she was looking directly at his eyes, and her eyes were filing with tear.)

Mr Joseph( with a smile on his face and a feeling of satisfaction):  I'm happy that you are that smart that I don't need to explain more.

Leah left the office to talk to joe about Elizabeth. In the meantime, she was thinking about how she could tell him everything before Joseph wanted to tell him. From that day, she couldn't stop thinking who she could trust.
