Who is the enemy?

After Joseph talked to Alex, he noticed that Emily felt so unsafe, and she thought Joseph was trying to take her son from her, and now she has nobody on her side. So before everything goes worse, Joseph asks Emily to come to his office until they can solve some of the family problems.
As Joseph had a lot of enemies,  he didn't want them to find any weakness about him to fail him. So he tried to fix the problem with his douther until his enemies knew that he had his entire family on his side and no one could defeat him from inside.

Now emily is in the office....

Joseph: Emily,  why are you not even looking at me ? I'm your father, not your enemy. Talk to me to see what is wrong with you that you tried to do any experiments on Elizabeth without my consulting?

Emily: Don't act like you don't know anything. I disagreed from day one that you wanted Elizabeth to live with you, and you ignored it. I disagreed when you asked me to let my son get close to Elizabeth as you were treating with my son as one of your tools for the success of this project, not as your grandchild. If Alex doesn't understand,I can see  how you used him. He was my son, your grandchild, How could you play with his emotions until your lab toy (Elizabeth) finds some emotions and acts more like a human. ( tear in her eyes)
You still didn't notice how you took my son away from me and from the world that he could experience like a normal teenager. You are nothing to me, Joseph!

Joseph: Wow, this is the first time that you are calling me by my name. I'm sorry if I was so drown in to my work that I was ready to sacrifice everything to make sure this project would be a success. But let me tell you that Alex was attracted to her and wanted to help her, he volunteer for that, I didn't force him for anything. I know it hurts your feelings the moment that you understand you are not able to control your son's wishes, so you need to blame someone, and it turns out you are blaming me, but my beautiful douther, after some points, no one is able to control their child anymore, they will find their own way. The only thing you can do as a parent is to guide them, that's it. Look at yourself. You think I was happy when you decided to marry your husband at that young age? Or do you think I wanted you to be involved in my projects? It was all your choice.  And I couldn't stop you.

It was at this moment that Emily was shocked and just remembered her own childhood and how she acted with her father. It was exactly the same way that Alex is acting now.

Emiy: Don't think that I will forgive you just because of your speech. I don't care about Elizabeth, but remember, if anything happened to Alex because of her, I would kill you myself with my own hand. So try your best to guide him properly. Because he is not listening to me at all, and he only follows you.

Joseph: I will take care of my grandson and you both. I promise you my douther.

Emily: it is better for you to keep your promise then, Father! ( she said it in a moking way)
