I'M a mother now

Liam entered the leahs office, and he noticed that Elizabeth is not with them.

Dr liam: Wait a second, where is Elizabeth? What happened to her? ( with a shoked and worried face.)

Dr leah: That's the reason that I asked you to come to my office, we need to talk!

Dr liam: OK, now you are scaring me. What is going on?

Dr leah: Long story short, Joseph noticed that I am married to you. Those scientists reported everything to him, and we failed in hiding our marriage.

Dr liam: That snake! From day one, I hated him. for what reason in the world did you ask for his help from the beginning? We had the money, and we had the lab. Why did he have to be involved in this project?

Dr leah: Shut your mouth for a second liam!( shouting). For god's sake, listen to me once and don't blame me for everything!( with the tears in her eyes) .
We lost everything. He kept Elizabeth with himself. We are no longer able to work on this project. If we were insisted on keeping her, I would lose my job forever.

Dr liam : What the the hell Joe has done over there then? Was he a vegetable? How he couldn't protect you and Elizabeth at that moment ? He always claims that he wouldn't let anyone touch Elizabeth. Look at him now. None of us can have her again. Amazing job, joe!!( yelling with moking tone).
What will happen now?

Dr. leah: joe couldn't do anything, he protect me instead of protecting her. We gave Elizabeth to him, but he will let you do some experiments on her about how to stop her from ageing so fast. Also, he will keep our marriage a secret as long as we cooperate with him. 

Dr liam: That's crazy, I can't believe all of this is happening because of our marriage. At least I still can have access to her, so we didn't lose the game completely. I will make sure to do something that Elizabeth comes back to us. Don't worry about it, leah. I will fix it. By the way, did joe notice about our marriage? 

Dr leah( with disappointed face) : He did, but that is not the problem now. We need to find a way out to not give another way to Joseph to control us.
The best way is that we get divorced. Otherwise, he still can irritate us. 

Dr liam : How easy is it for you to say that ? I will never give up on our marriage, leah. I won't let an old, fat guy ruin our marriage!

Dr leah ( shouting) : Stop it, liam! You don't understand how powerful he is and how he can ruin all of our lives. I don't wanna live with being worried every single day about how he can affect my career and my life. This is my last word. We will get divorced tomorrow!

Dr liam: If you ever loved me the way that you love joe, you would never say that to me now!

After that, liam left and slammed the door.

After a while, leah joined joe and sat next to him. She could see how heartbroken joe was at that moment, he lost his douther, for sure it wouldn't be easy for him. all the time he was blaming himself for taking Elizabeth to Joseph's house.  

After a while, leah started the
conversation:

Dr. leah: I will divorced him, then I will leave this job and raise my child somewhere far away that no one can recognise me anymore. I want to start a new life, as Elizabethm did.
I'm a mother now, and I want to keep my baby safe.
I'm sure Joseph will treat her better than how we treated her. Otherwise, she would never leave us behind.

Dr. joe: she left us because I turned my back on her!( tears in his eyes). I'm so unworthy. I can't do anything to turn her back.

After a moment of silence, he continued:

I will support you leah, you deserve a better life, your baby as well. Honestly, I'm happy for you.You always wanted to become a mother. That's the reason that we could never have a relationship together. I was always scared to be a father. Look at me now, I failed as a father. She doesn't know about my feelings, but I know how much I love her, and since day one that I kept her in my arms; I felt like I became a father.
You have my support, leah, but don't let liam know about the baby. Don't forget that. I promise to protect you and your baby.

Dr. leah: You are the reason that I know I can go through this situation.
