Ch.3 Running Away

As we walked back to the house we didn't really talk much, I was trying to figure what I was gonna say to them when we got back..

"When you turn in to a werewolf is it like the movies or COMPLETELY different..Like do you become really hairy, grow a long nose and-" He started to laugh

"Umm What's so funny.. I just found out that my friends are a bunch of supernatural creatures, and I wanna know what happens" I stared at him

"I'm sorry, that's funny how you'd believe the movies.. And No.. We don't get extremely hairy and grow a long nose. The arch of our nose changes and only guys grow sideburns if that answers your questions" We stopped walking when we got to the house

"Well prepare to see the most awkward conversation ever known to mankind.. And werewolves, a banshee, a werecoyote, and a kitsune.."

"OK one.. Scott heard you, werewolf hearing. And two Just get in there and say sorry so I can be home before my parents think I'm dead" He said pushing me in the doorway everyone looks at us. Ughh let's just get this over with so I can go home and eat cause I'm freaking starving!!!

"I'm so sorry, I was just really scared when I saw Scott's eyes change color right in front of me.. I didn't know what to do so I kinda ran" well I was only gonna say 'sorry' but I have verbal diarrhea.. It runs in the family

"It's OK but You Dad called Stiles, he left the house but there's pizza waiting for you.. He said that you'd understand" Scott said getting his jacket on

"OK then.. Let's go cause I want food but first, I'm probably gonna need your numbers..." I looked at my phone

"I put the numbers in when you were gone, so you have all of them.." Stiles spoke up as he was about to leave to his jeep

"So you were on my phone.."

"I didn't go through anything"
I said bye to Lydia, Kira, and Malia and then met the guys in the jeep..

"We need a nickname for you Tate, cause I don't remember the one from when we were little" Stiles said making eye contact with me through the car mirror

"I don't think that there's a nickname for Tate" Liam looked at me and Stiles

"I don't know" I looked at Scott

"We can google it" He shrugged but me and Liam didn't really wanna so the rest of the car ride was quite except Stiles was talking about some guy named Theo with Scott..

"OK get out so I can go home and act normal for a little bit before Scott texts me saying 'We have a Situation'.." Stiles said gesturing us to get out

"See you guys at school.." Scott said as they drove away.

"Well I really want the pizza waiting for me inside. If you want you can come over for a bit once you let your parents know that you aren't dead, just text me when you come OK?" he nodded and headed to his house which wasn't far. It was three houses down, but across the street. As I walk inside I find my stepmom asleep on the couch.. So I grab the pizza box that was on the table and turn around to see my stepmom standing in front of me

"Where the hell have you been!? I could have been worried sick" the smell of alcohol coming from her breath

"I was out with my cousin and his friends.. And you could have been worried sick, but you weren't. You and Dad got in another fight, didn't you?" I ask but I didn't get an answer so I went into my room as she starts yelling from behind.. When I walked upstairs I start to cry a bit but I stop when I saw Liam coming in through my window

"I was at the door but I heard someone yelling so I came to the window.. Are you OK, what happened?" He walked over to my door and locked it, and walked me to the bed

"I'm fine this happens all the time.. They are just stupid and should break up.. Whenever they get in a fight me Dad goes to work, and she drinks"

"You know that you don't have to stay here. You have Scott's, Stiles, or even my place to stay at.. And Lydia would definitely let you stay at her place" He put the pizza box on my desk

"I know... I thought it'd be better here then how it was at my moms.. I'll just leave a note on my door saying that I'm fine but I had to leave, weren't you supposed to text me when you came?" I put some outfits IN a bag with my phone charger and things like a toothbrush

"I did, check your phone I also asked my parents if I could have a friend over..You can stay in the guest room" I looked at my phone and I had a text from Stiles, Scott, and WolfBoy which is probably Liam..

'Goodnight I'll pick you up for school in the morning, so be outside by 7:15' -Stiles

'I now that I should have told you about this at a better time, but I didn't want anything bad to happen to you. And you not know about it.. Goodnight' -Scott

'I'm coming over, I can stay til 12:30' -WolfBoy

"Stiles put you in my phone as WolfBoy" I laugh and put the note on the back of my door

"I'll get him back.. Ohh I'll scare him, He'll flip out" He grabbed my bag and walked to my window

"Ready to run away with me..well kinda run away since we're only going to my house, if we were really runny away we'd go to Derek's" He climbed out the window

"We haven't known known each other for more than a day and I'm already helping you escape" he caught me

"That's a good thing cause that means that I can trust you.. Anything that you wanna tell me before I meet your parents?" I ask as we get to his front door

"Well my Dad is gonna try to embarrass me and my mom is gonna think that we're Dating, are you sure your OK.. Don't try to lie cause you heart beat will change and I'll know"

"No.." I looked at the ground

"Prepare yourself, I told them that I was having a friend over. I didn't say it was a female friend" He smiled and grabbed my hand pulling me inside

Sorry!! Something came up and I couldn't update, but it's all cleared up and I have another chapter coming tonight. I also have an idea for another FanFic.. It's gonna be a Dylan Sprayberry one instead of a Liam Dunbar FanFic
