Ch.18 I don't know what to do..

(Next Day)
Tate

I was sitting in class with Mason, Liam, and Hayden but I was really saying much.. I didn't want to say the wrong thing and then get someone angry.

"Tate... Are you listening?" Mason waved his hand in my face

"Yeah" I lied, which gained me a look from Liam because he knew that I had lied.

"Fine.. No I wasn't listening, what's up"

"Brett and I are hanging out later, Liam isn't coming. And Brett kinda asked if you would come."

"Umm.. Yeah, I'll come cause I have nothing better to do anyways."

"Oh I gotta go to the library, I'll see you guys later. Tate you wanna come?" I nodded and left with Mason. As I walked out in to the hall he pulled me down the hall and around a few corners..

"Is this far enough so Liam can't use his, you know Wolf hearing?" I nod

"Split Tate.. What's wrong with you and Liam" I emit, I'm shocked that Liam didn't tell his best friend.

"He Didn't tell you... We broke up, he started getting feelings for Hayden and when Theo found them.. They kissed" He didn't say anything but pull me into a hug. I wasn't said or upset, but I did feel something I just wasn't sure..

"Tate.. Your eyes" I took out my phone and turned the front camera on to look at my eyes.. They were still brown, but my entire eye including the white part had flames in them.. I put my phone back in my bag and shut my eyes then opened them again..Mason shook his head to tell me they didn't change..
I tried again, but they didn't charge.

"I'll be in the locker room... Find Scott" Mason ran off and I ran to the locker room covering my eyes from everyone, and I finally made it to the locker room.. I ran over to the mirror and looked at my eyes better, the flames hadn't gone away. They only seemed worse.. A few minutes later Scott ran in the room with Stiles, Malia, and Liam. They all seemed worried when the saw my eyes but Liam was both worried, and scared.. Why.

"I don't know what to do.." Just as I said that Liam started to walk closer and the rest of me ignited into flames
"Don't" I yelled and began to cry, I didn't want to hurt anyone.. They all stepped back and Malia gave Stiles a worried look..

"Stiles, we have to get her out of here.. What's the plan" Malia said not looking away from me..Stiles have us a blank stare like he didn't know what to do.

"The Lacrosse field.." Liam said and we all stared at him confused, I stopped crying..

"The door is outside the locker rooms, and no one will see her. She can ran into the woods where we practice for track, and we can follow her a few minutes later so no one notices.." when he finished I walked out of the door with everyone following close by but far enough to not get burned.. This is the worse feeling in the world knowing that I could hurt the people that I care most about, including Liam..

"Scott what if I can't control it anymore.."

"You will.. You Just need to think about your anchor"

My anchor was Liam..

Liam

"Scott what if I can't control it anymore.." Tate said getting watery eyes, it hurt me so much thinking about her like this.. I know she doesn't want to hurt anyone.

"You will.. You Just need to think about your anchor" I was her anchor.. She waited a few seconds and then she started crying harder and the flames grew bigger, if we were still in the school the fire alarm would have went off for sure.. As the flames grew she ran away from us to the field, but it didn't look like she was running.. She was almost hovering over the ground, like the flames were carrying Her and them she disappeared in the woods.

"Was I the only one who saw that.." Malia said as we all looked at each other and bolted to the woods. I felt so horrible, if I hadn't kissed Hayden the Tate would have never been in the mess and we'd still be together..
I have treated Her like shit, I've been so distant from her while I was trying to make things up to Hayden and getting feelings I'm the process.

I have to find her and make things right again..

Stiles

I can't believe what Just happened.. I didn't know what to think to be honest, we've seen thing's worse but nothing like this..

I blame Liam.

Even tho Tate never told us, she was shattered when Liam and Hayden kissed. Even if Tate didn't know it herself.. We got to the woods and split up to cover more ground.

Tate

I needed to go, I didn't want them to see me like this.. I don't even know why my eyes changed, and why I couldn't change back.. But I know that I need to get away from everyone so I didn't hurt anyone.. The flames went away and I dropped to the ground.. Finally, but my eyes hadn't changed and.. Grew red talons, well this day Just gets better.. I started to run but I got dizzy so I sat down and everything went black..

I was running through the woods and felt like someone was extremely worried.. I looked to my side and saw Theo running, he was starting to change to his werewolf form and picked up his running speed. He slowed and looked at his phone.. He looked angry, he growled and then ran off again but everything got blurry

I opened my eyes, my talons were gone and my eyes were normal again. But I was just so exhausted.. I heard someone yell my name a few times and then Theo ran next to me..

"Tate.. Are you OK? Stiles and Scott said-"

"Yeah.. I'm fine, I'm just really tired" I cut him off and I stood up holding onto the tree.

"Here jump" He held his hands open

"What?"

"Hug me and then jump.. I'll carry you" I shrugged and did what he said so I was basically straddling him as he put his hand on my thighs for support..

"How did you find me, the others were looking long and yet you found me before them" I ask but he didn't answer.. I didn't really need an answer, I was just happy that he found me instead of Liam or the others...
