Ch.23 What have I done...

Jess

"Should I call you Tate or Jess.." Scott asked as we drove to the school to see what was happening

"Well Tate was a different person. So you should call me Jess" I said as he parked the car and we walked inside.

"You go look for her, I gotta check something.." he nodded and I ran to Tate's locker. I stood there for a second trying to figure out the combination..
06-25-01, wrong.. I closed my eyes and I saw these numbers flash, I jumped a bit because.. We'll that wasn't normal, actually nothing that has been happening is normal. I looked at the lock and put in the numbers that I saw, I pulled down and it opened..

"Thank.. You, Tate" I said with a smile and I looked in Her locker, there was a few pictures of her with Her friends, family and only three of her and Liam kissing.. I guess she hasn't been in Her locker since the broke up. I put the pictures in my jacket pocket and met Scott in the Library, I found him inbetween two isles looking at Lydia's phone. I look at him and we walk out of the isle and find Theo dropped this black bust on the ground.

"What are you doing.. What is that" I asked

"Mountain Ash" Scott said

"No supernatural creature can pass throw it or even touch it for that matter" Theo kept talking but I ignored him and walked to the ash, tried to put my hand through it but it sent pain everywhere the more that I tried to break from it.. I don't know how long that I tried to get out but I began to sweat a bit.

"Jess, Jess stop it.. It's not gonna work. Theo is a chimera and I think that I found a way out" he said pointing to the utilities closet. We climbed up the ladder to the roof and tried to get out but the roof had ash on it to. I looked at Scott and he was using his inhaler, but it wasn't working.

"Scott.. It's Okay, you Just have to stay calm" knelt beside him and he crushed his inhaler

"Scott..."

"It's wolfs bane" he said as this mist came from his inhaler..

We stood up and found Liam near us in full Wolf form.

"Theo let you in.." Scott said surprised

"You promised Scott"

"Liam" I said stepping in front of Scott and I changed to a werewolf but I knew that I still had the blue flames in my eyes, I could feel it.

"Scott you promised to keep her safe"

"I can't give her the bit, she's too weak and her body will reject it and kill her"
Before I knew what was going on, I was thrown across the building and Liam was attacking Scott. I got up and threw Liam off Scott, I felt like I knew Scott my hole life and my number one goal right now is to keep him alive. If anyone dies tonight, it will be me and not Scott.

"Jess back off, I don't want to hurt you" Liam said as I swung my claws at him a few times.

"The moon is feeding off your anger Liam, control yourself" I yelled as he swung at me, hitting me in my side and I fell to the ground. He ran over to Scott and the began to fight, they fell through the glass window and down into the Library. I saw Scott throw Liam off of him and Jump up to the second level of the library.

"Liam, this is what he wants.. Theo wants you to kill me because your the only one who can" He said locking eye contact with Liam. I jumped down but kept my distance.

"No, I want to kill you because I walk to kill you" Liam said and the began to fight again, he threw Scott around a few times and to be honest.. Scott was getting his ass kicked by a freshman beta. Once they were on my level again Liam swung a chair at Scott but Scott jumped and didn't get hit. I ran over, grabbed Liam by his jacket and threw him across the library.

"Jess I don't want to hurt you" he said as he stood up and roared..

"Come and get me big guy" I said and I ran towards him.

I swung at his face but he blocked it and threw me the room.

"I said I'm not hitting you" he said and turned around. I hit my head on a table when he threw me and a bit of blood came from my nose. I looked up and saw that Scott finally changed his form and they were fighting Now, Scott blocked a few hits until he kicked Liam and he fell on to a table not far from me. Liam got up, threw Scott to the ground and started clawing his stomach. I finally stumbled up but Scott was coughing up blood and Liam had blood all over his hands.

"LIAM STOP!! YOUR KILLING HIM!!" I screamed and began to cry but he wasn't listening, all he wanted to do was to Kill Scott. I screamed his name again. And then Mason came running in.

"LIAM!! LIAM WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!!" He screamed and then Liam noticed what he did and changed back to himself.

"She's gone, Liam Hayden's gone. She died a few minutes ago" he said crying a bit.. Liam must feel so broken, he lost Tate and now Hayden.. I stood up and ran over to Scott and knelt beside him.

"I'm..I'm sorry" he said and ran out the school, to find Hayden I'm guessing. And Mason knelt next to me. About fifteen minutes later Scott mom came running in yelling his name.

"His gone" I whispered letting a few tears drop from my eyes.

"He hasn't had a heartbeat in the past fifteen minutes.." Mason added almost lifeless.. But she kept giving him CPR..

"He's an alpha.. A True alpha doesn't die like this. He isn't going to die like this" She said

"Come on Scott" I said

"Come on roar Scott, Scott McCall roar for me dammit" She yelled.

"SCOTT ROAR" She yelled loader and took Her hands in a fist and slammed then onto his chest. The moment she didn't that Scott's eyes, claws, and teeth changed and he roar so loud.. I've never heard him roar like that, there was just something different... When he roared..

I knew I belonged in his pack.. And I was going to do anything in my power to help...

Liam

I held Hayden's lifeless body in my arms, thinking of what I just had done.. I probably killed Scott while my girlfriend died when I wasn't there with Her. I looked up and saw Parrish standing in front of me, in some kinda of trance.. I knew he was gonna take her body, so I looked down at her and placed a soft kiss on her forehead One last time and let Parrish take her away...

What have I done...

I CRIED SO MUCH LAST NIGHT!!! Sorry that this chapter kinda sucks.. HOW CAN JEFF DAVIS FUCK WITH OUR EMOTIONS LIKE THIS!!! I LITERALLY USED MY INHALER TWICE LAST NIGHT BECAUSE I WAS FREAKING OUT, I THOUGHT SCOTT WAS ACTUALLY DEAD!! (And I have extremely bad asthma, and when I freak out it acts up) WE HAVE TO WAIT FREAKING 5 MONTHS FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON!!! AND THEY LEFT US ON A CLIFF HANGER!!

Anyways...

I love you all soo much!! We're almost at 3K!!! But I will see you on this story, in January. Thank You for giving me something to do during this summer.
