♡THIRD PERSON PERSPECTIVE♡
Six days later...
It's been six days since the Halloween party, and the group chat is almost back to its usual vibe. However, Taehyung and Jeongguk haven't been responding to any messages, but they definitely have their reasons.

I'm curious about the situation between Taehyung and Jeongguk.Cute_As_A_Button(^.^)
I feel it's not my place to share details, I apologise.SimplyJoonie
That's understandable. I just wish for a resolution to whatever issues they may have.Cute_As_A_Button(^.^)
I feel the same way.Taehyung was not only ignoring the group chat but also Jimin, who understood the reason behind it. Despite Jimin's attempts to reach out, Taehyung had isolated himself, and while Jimin wished he wouldn't, he recognised that Taehyung needed this time alone.
Meanwhile, Jeongguk was struggling to piece together the events of the party after Jin, Yoongi, Namjoon, and Jimin had departed, but everything felt hazy. Jimin had pointed out that Jeongguk had confused a keg for a personal water fountain, he had indeed downed more than 17 cups of different alcoholic drinks, some of which were quite strong, leading him to feel the effects far sooner than he anticipated.
Waking up the next day was a total disaster; his older brother had laid down the law, whipped up some hangover soup, and shoved medication at him to tackle the headache that was the reason for his miserable morning.
{At this moment, in the house of Junghyun and Jeongguk's parents}
"Get off your high horse and talk to him already. It's been six days, and you've already blown off Mondays class, Wednesdays class, and today's. You can't hide away forever."
"Oh, I can, and I will. You can't control me, bro."
"Why are you being so hard-headed?"
"I picked that up from you."
"Don't put that on me!"
"But it's the truth!"
"Whatever." Junghyun was done trying to deal with his brother. "You need to talk to him, or you'll regret it later. I'm off to Jeonghan's for a bit." Jeongguk nodded and walked him to the door. Their parents were away on business trips.
Mr. Jeon was in Sri Lanka, while Mrs. Jeon was in Senegal, and they wouldn't return until closer to Christmas.
Now, Jeongguk found himself alone in a quiet house. He let out a sigh as he locked the front door and made his way upstairs to his room, where his phone had been sitting untouched on the side table since Sunday.
With another sigh, he picked up his charger and plugged in his phone before lying back on the bed, staring at the ceiling. "What did I do wrong?" Jeongguk murmured softly, a single tear escaping his eye.
The moment his phone lit up, he squinted at the glaring screen. Sitting up in bed, he swung his legs over the edge and reached for the device. After connecting to the Internet, Jeongguk noticed the group chat buzzing with activity.
Not in the mood to dive into the conversation, he almost turned off the screen to let the phone charge. However, as he scrolled through the notifications, one notification stood out and took him by surprise.
It was a message from Taehyung.
After a moment of doubt, Jeongguk opened the message...
