♡THIRD PERSON PERSPECTIVE♡
On Monday, November 9th, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jeongguk were so thrilled about reuniting with their friends that they completely overlooked their prior commitments. Jimin was scheduled to work at the bakery until 3 PM, while Taehyung had classes that wrapped up at 4:30 PM, and Jeongguk finishes his classes half an hour earlier than Taehyung. Originally, the plan was to gather at 3:30 p.m., but that would leave Taehyung and Jeongguk out of the fun. To ensure everyone could join, they decided to push the meeting to 5:10 PM.
Seokjin made the decision to close his restaurant for the day, letting his staff and the manager know that he wanted everyone to have a day off. He believed it would be unfair for him to take a break while they continued to work. The restaurant will reopen tomorrow at 10:45 AM.
Yoongi was granted a day off because his manager's wife was on maternity leave and required additional support. As a result, the manager decided to temporarily close the company, instructing all employees to work from home and submit their assignments online instead of in person.
Hoseok assigned his second-in-command, Oh Sehun, to manage operations for the day. At first, Sehun was hesitant to take on the responsibility just because Hoseok wanted to hang out with friends. However, after Hoseok promised him a day off the following day, Sehun agreed but insisted on a 45% pay raise. Hoseok offered a 33% increase, which Sehun accepted with a shrug, satisfied with the arrangement.
Namjoon contacted his good friend Kang Seulgi to cover for him, and she quickly agreed, knowing how hard it is to resist Namjoon's charming smile and dimples. However, she jokingly warned him that she would seek revenge for having to deal with some particularly challenging students.
In the bustling bakery where Jimin is employed, the morning rush has been lively, with numerous customers placing orders for birthday cakes and cupcakes, while others simply seek a sweet indulgence. Just then, a familiar face enters—Yoo Jeongyeon, a regular patron, sporting a mischievous grin that always seems to get under Jimin's skin, much like he does to her.
"Well, well, if it isn't Jimin!" Her smile had the power to curdle milk.
"Ah, Jeongyeon! Let me guess, you're here for your usual?" Jeongyeon gave a nod as Jimin entered her order into the register, then raised the card terminal for her payment. "Thank you." She said. He flashed a forced smile, carefully packed her order into a box, and then slid the box into a bag before passing it to her across the counter.
Jimin let out a dramatic sigh as she stepped out of the bakery, only to feel an arm casually drape over his shoulders. "Oh please, she totally likes you! Did you catch the way her eyes lit up when you glanced her way?" Jimin shot a look at his buddy, Lee Taemin, who had been in his life for what felt like ages. "Nah, she can't stand me." Taemin just shook his head, laughter bubbling up.
"Keep living in that fantasy, Jiminie!" Jimin shot daggers at the older guy, who was clearly enjoying this way too much. "Even if she did have a crush on me, I'm not into her. Maybe if she wasn't such a pain, I could consider being friends." Taemin just nodded, that infuriating smirk still plastered on his face.
"Well, I might have a little crush on, you know, two people," he confessed, a hint of shyness in his voice. Taemin's eyes nearly popped out of his head; he was totally not ready for that revelation. "Wait, am I one of them?" Taemin joked, and Jimin gave him a light smack on the back of his head.
"Oh honey, you really think you're on my favourite list? And wait, aren't you supposedly dating that guy named Kim Jong-un, right?" Taemin's jaw dropped in disbelief. "You mean Kim Jongin, or Kai?" Jimin nodded enthusiastically, reminiscent of a child.
