MCKAY POV

My mate told me I was pregnant, just when I was about to get what I have always wanted. When I am finally at peace with my mother and family. But he offered to care for the pup, but will I be able to live with it? Not in my body but I mean the fact that my mate will give up his life for me. We went into my room and he run a bath for me, I went to bath and when I got back he was by the table.

McKay- you don't have to do this. You can reject me and find a mate for yourself.

Jacob- I believe in the path the moon goddess picked for me. Besides I like a challenge, others will just agree and it gets boring.

McKay- mother agree, but-

Jacob- hmm you were in her head and still fail to understand. Yes she agrees only to the things she agree with your father on. She saved Beth twice...

He is not wrong, she shifted regardless of being in pain and weak to stop them from killing each other. But still she is respectful and in my view way too submissive.

McKay- can I think about it? I mean this is too much, I feel like I am holding you back and I don't want you to hate me on the long run.

Jacob- hate you? You drained me of my blood and left me to die and yet I come looking for you. I told you... I love you and I meant it.

He got up and left the room, I felt all sorts of pain. I got dressed and went to bed, I spent the whole night laying there. Morning come and there was a alarm for a attack, people running and hiding. I was so tired from the lack of sleep but I was now awake with the fear of an attack. I went and found my family, Zayne was talking to father.

Zayne- I will handle this, you will kill him and mother with him too.

Dominic- you think I will deliberately kill my mate?

Zayne- no, but Hank doesn't hold back and you know this. Please father.

Father did not like being told anything so he just started to fight Zayne. They went into the woods and we went after them, telling them to stop, they didn't listen. But mother showed up, slapped them and talked about their man parts. It was both funny and embarrassing, but they stopped.

Mother said father had to kill Beth, that she was no longer innocent and it was putting everyone in danger. I did not go with them, Zayne did though. I went to help fight off the humans, I was with grandpa Morris. We went out far far away from our boards to throw them off our tracks.

Morris- princess are you sure you want to be here?

McKay- yes... I am.

Morris- hmm ok then, they will not hold back so don't either.

The fighting started the second they showed up, as they come running at me.. my heart was racing. I felt fear so deep I couldn't move, I was scared I will take yet another mate or a father. But the other side was not feeling any guilty as one guy was coming at me and I couldn't move not even a finger. He was going to kill me, but Jacob out of nowhere killed him before he could get to me.

Him and Morris now had to protect me rather than fight. After a while father and Zayne showed up and well, they are really good at killing. The fighting come to an almost end but Nomad showed up and father went after him. Father went up to him and Zayne was not far behind, father landed a hot ass punch on Nomad who did not fight back. Broke his nose and roared in his face.

Nomad- Dominic... I just want my daughter's body, atleast let me bury this one child in piece.

Father did not respond, only back handed him. He went flying a distance away and father took off.
