MOLLY POV

I stayed behind to make sure Beth was human and well. She come down after a while and she had no strength, was not a problem for anyone. I left to check on my daughter, Demitri was outside pacing...

Molly- Demitri?

Demitri- his in there, bloody and moody. His the king... You know so I can't fight him.

Molly- I know... He would kill you.

Demitri- yep... And also I am very much intimidated by him and his younger than me.

I laughed, Demitri is the type to respect those who deserves it.  Complement those who deserves it, his genuinely nice. He was turned into a vampire by Morris, he found him at the bottom of the riverbank after he jumped trying to save a boy who was trying kill himself. I don't know the whole story though. I dismissed him and I was about to go in when Zayne pulled me back.

Zayne- mother wait... Father uhmm

Molly- what ? What happened?

Zayne- so Nomad come to help out since he wants to come to the open he thought us stepping back into the shadows and him taking over the attack was better..

Molly- we step back.. keep away from humans eyes. It's actually not a bad idea

Zayne- well your mate did not see it that way, so he come to the conclusion that he come because he wanted to see you.. and well he attacked him.

How come I did not feel any of that? I looked at Zayne hoping for some explanation but he was dumbfounded as I was.

Zayne- so you did not feel either one?

Molly- fuck!... Nomad can cut the link, that is the only explanation to this.  Plus i haven't taken the cue since coming here, it must have weakened the link. I know you're father blocked me, he does that so to keep me from worrying.

Zayne- I don't see how that helps you in anyway... You worry regardless.

Molly- stop... Not tonight.

Zayne- jeah it's never the right time to talk about his faults.

Molly- I am not perfect either... Now leave us, I will be fine.

He looked hesitant, I had to physical push him to go. He hugged he tightly before going, I waited a few minutes before going in. Although his not wrong, I don't want to talk about my mates flaws. Not with my children anyway. They don't need another reason to look at him like a monster.

I took a second to breath before going in, once I opened the door I saw him by the window with a chatting Demi. She grows up fast. She was reaching for his face, he was just looking at her. I walked in and closed the door.

Molly- Dominic?

Dominic- she doesn't look scared of me... You have never looked scared of me. Even when I know you are, you tired to hide it.

Molly- mhh

I was not sure what to say. Yes I have been terrifed of him but what's the point of showing it? It's not like he will stop whatever his doing. At first I was scared senseless but as time went in, I come understand it's a normal part of being a hybrid and just went with it.

Dominic- she will soon hate me..just like they do

I was a bit surprised, I never thought he believed they hate him. I mean Zayne always ask me what his father thought of his decision. He always seeked his approval and his thoughts on  mattter. He think his not good enough to be called his son so he pushes hard. The only thing they seem to disagree on is how to handle a mate and their anger.
