I SAT on the floor in front of my locker, headphones on my head while i put my shoes on. i was trying to lock in, but that was hard to do since some sad ass Adele song was playing in my ears. I didn't speak to Kate at all yesterday at practice. which was wrong of me, cause she didn't do anything bad for me to ignore her.

Not to mention, i had fell right on my bad knee at practice yesterday and have been limping ever since. that automatically pissed me off to the point where i didn't want to speak to anyone.

"lil bit, you shouldn't play with all that limping you been doing." Syd crouched down in front of me, and poked my bad knee with her finger making me slap her arm.

"I'm good, syd." i muttered.

Sydney suddenly gripped my knee and started shaking it. which led to me yelling and punching syd in the stomach. "Sydney! why would you do that?!" i exclaimed, holding my knee delicately.

"What happened?" Kate walked over to us and sat beside me, she removed my hands from my knee. "Your knee is literally red and swollen, Moon." kate said, delicately rubbing her thumbs around my swollen knee.

See. SEE! you guys see this too right? the over affectionate care she has for me... but she claims she doesn't like me. yeah right. two can play that game.

I mugged her and slapped her hands away. then i got up off the floor on my own. Kate was still on the floor looking up at me with her confused blue eyes. "I'll be alright. worry about yourself today, Kate." i spoke a bit rudely.

I didn't mean for it to come off-- well actually yes i did. I'm not a dumb girl. I know Kate. and she definitely is playing some type of game with my feelings. or maybe i'm just being dramatic.

Am I being dramatic?

"Oookay." Syd clapped her hands, making Kate and I break eye contact, "cause y'all put on quite a show. really had me going." Sydney started singing, I huffed and rolled my eyes, "Now it's time to go. like, literally... it's time to go."

Syd stopped singing and pointed towards the door, gesturing for us to walk out the door with the rest of the team.

Kate got up and stood beside me, following me out the door, "Coach isn't letting me play tonight." Kate muttered in my ear. i furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.

"Why?"

Kate shrugged one shoulder, "i don't know. but since i can't play, can you play for me?" we both paused our movements and just stared at each other. her eyebrows were up as she waited for an answer. "Please?"
