"There is something different about him." Erwin stated.

It was three days after they retrieved Armin's things. The small fae creature sat huddled in blankets next to the only real plant they had. Levi had gone out and purchased one of those decorative office plants. He had complained the entire time how it had taken him all day to find a real one.

"Should have just gone out back and dug one up!" He muttered.

No one understood the meaning of this, since "outback" was just more parking lot. In those three days though, a small shed was being constructed close to the building. No one asked about it. More plants and fauna had appeared daily down in their tiny room. The bedroom was so crowded with them, that Ere was sleeping on the couch.

"Well, he is still healing." Levi pointed out, only partially listening to the huge man next to him.

"No. Armin I get. I mean, a woodland elf living in the city..." He shook his head.

Pushing off of the corner of the desk he had been leaning on, he sighed.

"He must be drained. Not even reaching his full potential." He muttered folding his arms over raised chest. He hooked one finger over the front of his chin as he rested the others under it.

"Its him. Eren." Erwin said in a near inaudible whisper.

"What about him?" Levi growled. His head came up as he set aside his last paper.

Eren was currently assisting Hange in bringing out the baked goods. He was carefully placing them in the cases, as Hange chatted non stop beside him.

"You've seen it, haven't you?" Erwin asked, narrowing his blue eyes.

"The way his seems to...grow." He muttered the last word.

"How his body shifts to handle a situation?" Levi asked.

"Yeah, that. It's like... I dunno, weird." Erwin muttered.

"I can't place his scent either." He added when Levi didn't say anything.

"Meaning?" Levi moved out from behind the desk. Now they stood next to each other, both openly ogling the sexy looking teen.

Eren didn't have a shirt on. Most likely Hange had spilled something on him and it was in the wash. He was covered with the stores apron. His body didn't look all that muscular. It wasn't flabby or anything, just no real defined muscles yet he was strong. His long hair was pulled up in a man bun as he laughed at something Armin said. That was another thing, Eren only showed true emotions when dealing with the small blond elf.

"Meaning, he doesn't smell human, fae, demonic, non of it, but yet somehow he dose..." Erwin frowned more perplexed by saying this out loud.

"BRAT!" Levi called out.

The door juggled. All heads turned toward it. There was a group of about six college aged girls standing outside.

"Five minutes!" Erwin called out, his voice ringing through the shop. One of the girls held a thumbs up sign. They turned to talk among themselves.

"Yeah, you need something?" Eren was before Levi.

"I need you to tell me something." Levi hedged.

Eren flipped the tray under one long arm. "Ok?" he looked a little uncertain.
