Z) Levi asks if Eren is into men. 1
Levi moved. He walked past Eren to lean against the door. He folded his arms as he glared at the tall male. Eren didn't look at him. He played with a ring on his hand. One Levi had noticed but never asked about. They stood like this for some time.
"You do know, I don't have to let you out of here." Levi grounded out.
"So you will do the same thing as Grisha?" Eren asked the floor.
One blue green eye peered up at Levi.
"Imprison me for something that is beyond my control?" He asked.
"What? No I..." Levi looked away.
"I'm going to get some rest. Wake me when Erwin gets back." Eren turned away.
He pulled out several bags of flour, lined then up on the floor to make a bed big enough for his long form to curl up on. He laid down, his back to Levi. He didn't say anything. Levi watched him for some time. Levi hardly ever eat, so staying awake to watch the teen was nothing new for him.
He watched. counted Eren's breaths. After forty five minutes he huffed.
"You're not sleeping." He complained.
As if to prove that he was, Eren snored out. Levi snorted. He looked away, fine let him be petty. Another half hour passed and Eren's breathing evened out. Levi moved closer to him. He peeked around to see his face. It was relaxed. No longer scrunched in worry, concern or anxiety over his friend.
Eren was beautiful while at peace. Levi decided. He climbed up on the stack of flour bags next to Eren. He sat thinking as the minutes ticked into hours. What was he going to do about the teen at his feet? He could just let him go. It wasn't his place to save the world. He was just a café owner.
"Are you into men, Eren?" Levi whispered to the sleeping form. He punched the bag of flour.
"I am so gay!" He chuckled at his own little joke. Until now, he hadn't realized just how "into" this kid he had grown. Had it only been a week? It felt far longer, yet so short all at the same time.
Levi looked down at Eren. The sunlight took that moment to shine through the window. Eren blinked awake as it struck his eyes. He sat up swiftly. So swiftly that Levi flinched back out if reflex. Eren saw it. He scuffed but didn't speak.
"Hey, where is everyone?" Erwin's voice came from the other side of the door.
"In here. The door jammed!" Levi yelled beating on the door.
Eren got up. "As soon as that door opens, I'm leaving." He insisted.
Levi turned. He was going to say something, anything, but what he saw had his mouth falling open. Eren stood there, hulking. His muscles appeared to be about ten times more prominent. He had to be two, possibly three feet taller than before. His long hair was no longer bound up, instead it hung about his face.
