dahlia POV

cobra kai dojo

We were in the middle of training when I heard the door open, I shook my head smiling to myself. He actually came.. I didn't think he had it in him.

"Can I help you?" I heard Kreese spoke from behind Kenny.

"I-I'm looking for Robby Keene." Kenny shakily told Sensei Kreese.

Kreese turned to Robby and spoke, "Mr. Keene. You have a visitor."

"You know this kid?" Tory asked Robby confused.

"I-I-I'm Kenny. My brother and sister, Shawn Payne, said you could help me." Kenny spoke

"I didn't know Shawn.. and Dahlia had a brother. Is he out?" Robby replied walking towards him.

"No. That's why I'm here. These a-holes keep hassling me. One of them knows karate, so--" Kenny said looking at me for reassurance, to which I smiled at him.

"This is a dojo. You are interrupting my class." Kreese interrupted him, and I rolled my eyes.. in my head, last time he caught me rolling my eyes at him he made me do God knows how much push ups.

"I'm sorry.. I didn't know."

"Sensei." Robby interrupted, "Shawn Payne was one of the toughest guys in juvie. Kicked my ass a few times. Also.. he's Dahlia's brother."

"You know, in the real world, we have to fight our own battles. Cobra Kai can teach you how. But you have to prove that you're worthy." Kreese ranted holding onto his gi.. there goes the eye rolling again (..in my head.. don't judge me!), he can be so dramatic.

"How do I do that?" Kenny wondered.

Kreese though for a moment. "Take your shoes off and get on the mat." Kenny stood there for a moment looking towards me and Robby, we both nodded in return. Kenny took his shoes off and the rest of us cleared the mat sitting around it. "All right, Mr. Payne. Let's see what you got. Mr. Park?"

"But h-how am I supposed to fight if I haven't had any training yet?" Kenny stuttered hi hands slightly shaking.

"To be a Cobra Kai, you have to have a killer instinct. Fighting positions."

"Don't worry, man. I'll go easy on you." Kyler taunted.

"Ais!" 

Kyler shouted running at him aiming to land a punch. "Ha!"

Kenny squeals running away off the mat as the student laughed except Robby and I. I knew this would happen, even though I wished it wouldn't. I just want him to learn to stand up for himself y'know.. aw come on! Don't look at me like that.. you know you would too.. hmph!

"Come back on the mat. Grow some pubes. Let's go."

"It's all right, Mr. Payne. Try again." Kreese said, trying to be comforting.. I think?

"Ais!"

Kyler yelled out sending a kick Kenny way, which would've hit him.. if he hadn't run away again.

"I've seen enough." Kreese said disappointed as the others laughed again. After hearing he was Dahlia's brother he had higher hopes.

"Yeah, me too." Kyler said laughing and the laughter continued.
