They stood in a line with an outline of leaves in the shape of a body. Agatha read from the book, chanting the old latin words. Ellie felt the wind pick up ever so slightly. They all held onto a piece of the earth, Lilia had a stone of obsidian, Alice a rock, Jen a flower, Agatha a leaf and Ellie a small pile of seeds in her hands. Agatha stopped chanting and Lilia put down her stone first.
"May she be strong and wise, and the best at her craft." As soon as the stone was set, the flames surrounding the outline came alive.
"May she be smart and not annoying." Agatha began to place down her leaf but added one last piece "And also, not super political."
"May she be pleasant looking." Was the only thing Jen wanted from their witch, which was quite stupid in Ellie's opinion.
"Can she bring some Advil?" Lilia groaned at Alice. Finally, it was Ellie's turn.
"May she help us on our journey." Ellie stopped and began again "Or at the very least mine..." Everyone groaned while Ellie smirked and shrugged at them. She had to think about her first, sue her.
"Yes. Okay." Agatha began chanting again, with all of them with their palms out and focusing on their magic. With smooth gestures of her hands and arms, the wind picked up and blew out the candles.
"Now what?" Teen asked excitedly.
"Now we wait." Lilia explained "True witchcraft takes time. The spell must marinate, gestate..." They all jumped back when a hand flung up from the ground right above where they buried Miss Sharon. Causing all of them to scream and cling onto each other. Ellie unconsciously clung onto Teen's arms who held his arm in front of her. The body mutated, cracking and twisting in ways Ellie never knew was possible.
"Agatha, what did you do?" Jen accused Agatha which she took great offense to.
"What do you mean, what did I do? This was very clearly a group effort."
"Oh, my God, did we turn Mrs. Hart into a zombie?" Teen cried out.
"I don't think that's a zombie!" Ellie shouted as the body continued to rise up from the literal dead.
"Quick, what spell did we cast?" Alice frantically looked at the book with Lilia.
"Why is the print so small?" Lilia cried while squinting on the book pages.
"Mrs. Hart, is that you?" As the body finally began to come together and in came Rio. Who sighed when her body finally began to be in her control again.
"Heard you guys were having a party." Rio smiled at the group. Ellie smiled brightly at her mentor, everyone else was either shocked at the sight of her or furious. The former being Agatha.
"How did you..."
"I was in the neighborhood." Rio stalked up to Agatha, creating a flower in her hand for her with a gasp "Surprise. My lady." Agatha ripped the flower out of her hand and raised her arms with a scream, ready to attack her old lover. And she would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for Jen and Alice.
"We just summoned her!"
"We need her!" They said, each holding one of Agatha's arms in place.
