"MAMA!"

Ellie remembers how easy it was going to sleep that night, it was after all a very busy day. Her whole family had to fight the bad men and what hurt the most that day was when her Mama had to fight Auntie Aggie. Ellie liked Agnes, sure she was a little weird and had her quirks but Ellie liked that about Agnes!

She still remembers her parents saying goodnight to her, her mom giving her a gentle kiss on the forehead and her Daddy tucking her in, making sure she wasn't cold.

"Goodnight Ellie."

"Goodnight sweet star..." Mama said teary eyed. Ellie was too tired to ask why and now, she wished she did. Ellie frantically looked around her, looking for her parents, her brothers, anybody. But all she saw was a girl next to her, limp and seemingly dead like she should have been.

"Oh my god..."

"There's another body!"

"Hey! Can you hear me!" Ellie weakly nodded at the voice.

"Don't move! We'll get you out, don't worry." But oh, how Ellie did worry. She couldn't move, she was too strapped into the seat and she didn't know where she was.

"H-help! Please help me!" Ellie cried to whoever could hear her.

"We're coming sweetheart I promise!"

"Try to stay calm, alright?" Another said.

Hey, Ellie.

Ellie gasped and turned her head towards the voice. There was a man there, he had silver hair and a smile on his face when he looked at her. There was something familiar about him, she couldn't place her finger on it though. He looked like Uncle P when he came to visit, but also, this one felt right. Not like the one before who Mama said not to trust him.

"Uncle Pietro?" Ellie whispered, not believing what she was seeing just yet. His smile widened.

"Yeah kid, it's your good ol Uncle Pietro." Ellie cried more at his words, sobbing uncontrollably.

"I can see you." She sobbed "I can hear you. I can feel you."

***

Ellie stayed at the hospital for days after she was rescued. Only her though, the people who were also in the car had passed right on impact. She arrived at a frantic man hovering over her, yelling at the doctors to 'fix her'. Ellie had to cover her ears when she heard him, his voice and mind too loud for her sensitive body. The only reason she didn't pull away from everyone poking her was because of her Uncle.

They'll help you, don't worry. Your Uncle Pietro will tell you if they mean you any harm.

She stayed there in silence, not saying a single word to anybody. Only watching the world go by without her. Ellie glanced at her wrist where her medical band laid. Her name in this body was Eliana Robinson. Apparently she was adopted when she was a baby by Oliver Robinson, her father, Eliana's father.

"God she looks so scared, poor girl."

Ellie didn't say anything when she heard that nurse say that. To be frank, she was scared. She was so scared she felt like puking but that wouldn't do anybody any help. So Ellie shut her mouth and kept her thoughts to herself even if what she wanted to say was I'm not scared!
