Ellie didn't need to sleep, she never felt the need to close her eyes and sleep. Rio came back slowly and quietly sat next to Ellie, they didn't say anything to each other. Only silently watching the group go to sleep, Agatha avoiding Rio so she went to sleep elsewhere on the road. Their relationship, Ellie and Rio's, while usually filled with laughs and knowledge being passed around, didn't always need to be filled with it. They knew when one needed silence rather than assurance. Rio did it for Ellie when she was grieving her family and now Ellie is doing it for Rio.
"They're coming." Lilia awoke with a gasp "We have to go." Alice, Jen and Teen awoke almost immediately, groggily but awake and alert.
"What?"
"The summoning spell. We left the door open." Ellie hummed to herself, so that's what she felt. A slight shift in the atmosphere but she played it off because it was a blood moon tonight, she thought it was because she was connected with the spirits stronger than ever tonight.
"What are you talking about? What did you see?" Lilia looked scared about telling them.
"Go on, Lilia. Tell them." Rio urged with a smirk, helping Ellie up from the ground.
"The Salem Seven." Jen dramatically gasped.
"Scary black dresses?"
"Awesome head pieces?" Teen and Ellie asked the group at the same time to which Lilia nodded.
"When Agatha killed her original coven..." Lilia started.
"By stealing their power."
"Because her own mother tried to have her executed." Rio cut in on Jen, always ready to defend Agatha.
"Are you really defending a noted serial killer, you creepy lurker?" Jen shot back at her.
"Come on, someone finish the story." Alice stopped their little fight, yearning to know what really happened.
"When Agatha murdered her sister witches, she spared their young children."
"Yeah, and then they became a feral, hive-minded coven bent on revenge." Rio grinned a little. Agatha then ran up to them, grabbing her coat and frantically waving at them.
"Whoa, ah! The moral of the story, kids, is always finish what you started. Also, mercy is overrated. All right, everybody, pack up your shit! Let's go!"

They ran through the Road, Lilia holding onto Ellie to make sure the girl wouldn't get lost or behind. They thought they were making good progress when they all stopped to listen to the sounds of a wolf howling.
"That was ahead of us."
They all flinched and turned back when they heard witches of the Salem Seven coming closer to them.
"That's behind us."
"We're trapped." They looked lost as to what to do and Ellie had a momentary thought to lift them all up with her powers, luckily she didn't need to when Teen shot out an excellent idea.
