Last night, albeit one of the most dramatic of my life, was one of the best.

I hadn't seen since he had left us, but for some strange reason I wouldn't really mind if I did run into him.

BEEP BEEP

And that was my alarm clocks que to tell me to get out of my comfy bed.

'Noo!' I moaned into my pillow which made it sound like more of a 'Moow!'

'It's too early to get up!'

It felt like 3am but in reality it was more like 10ish...

BEEP BEEP

My alarm clock obviously not paying any attention to my groaning and moaning, kept ringing out.

Unwillingly I got up.

As I trudged down the stairs, I was met by my mother.

'Oh hello darling! Did you just wake up?' She asked.

Any one could have seen that I had just woken up thanks to one extreme case of bed hair and another case of smudged make up from the night before.

Okay, I don't usually sleep with my make up on, but it was late and I was tired and in a dream like state. Any way lets get back to the story.

'How was your night?' She asked with a wink after I had nodded in response.

'Great. How was yours?' I asked off in my day dream about last night.

'Honey!?' My mothers voice broke me out of my trance. 'Are you even listening?'

'Sorry mother. I was just thinking.'

'About what, dear?'

'Last night' I said. Yep I was back in my trance.

'Honey!' My mother practically yelled in my ear. 'Wow. You must have a lot more fun last night than I thought. Oh! That reminds me. Here' she said handing me something.

When it was in my hand, I took a look and saw a square of silver wrapper. When I felt it, it seemed to be filled with something made of plastic. A CONDOM!

'Mom what is this?' I asked.

'A condom. I thought you would have known' she said, her eyes widening.

'Mom, I meant why are you giving me this?'

'Well, I want grand babies, just not yet even if it is with Greg'

'Wait, what do you mean Greg?' I asked. How did she know? We couldn't be that obvious. Can we?

'Please honey. I was not born yesterday. I can see the way you look at each other'

'Well, mom, you can take this back' I said.

'Honey, I think you should keep it'

'Mom!' I said my face becoming bright red.

'Keep it just in case' mom said

When we reached the bottom of the spiralling stair case, my mother stopped me and said 'And by the way, your father and I approve of Greg.'

And that was her que to leave me.
