Greg walked me up to my bedroom door and kissed me as if he would never see me again.

"What was that for?" I asked.

"Nothing," he said biting his lip and scrunching his nose, "Now," kiss, "get," kiss, "in," kiss, "there," kiss, "and," kiss, "get," kiss, "dressed!" He pecked me one last time before I closed the door.

I picked out a pair black skinny jeans, grey coat, black boots with heals which went up to my knees and a pair of black gloves. After applying a thin layer of foundation and a little lip gloss, I opened the my door and walked down stairs.

At the bottom I found Greg waiting patiently for me.

"You look great," he complimented me.

"You don't look too bad yourself" I laughed.

"Well we should get going," he said after a long pause filled with staring into each others eyes.

"Yep," I said with a smile.

We got into his shiny black car and drove off.

When we stopped I looked out the window and saw the outside of the rink. I jumped out and grabbed Greg's hand, after he locked the car, and ran up to the doors. We walked up to the cashier and Greg pulled out his wallet.

"Greg, let me," I say taking out some money.

"No this is a date. I pay," he said.

"At least let me chip in," I pleaded.

"Too late," he said giving the man the money.

I narrowed my eyes at him achieving nothing but making him laugh. His laughs caused me to giggle.

"Come on!" I said getting a hold of his hand and skipping towards the line for skates.

When we got to the front the guy there smiled at me. He couldn't have been much older then me with smooth black hair and icy blue eyes. He leaned his elbows on the table and said "Hello, what's your name?"

"Um... Madeline," I answered trying to be polite, "And this is Greg!" I added making the guy's eyes widen and jump into action.

"Sorry, what size would you like?" He asked.

"One size 10," Greg stated through clenched teeth, "and..." He said looking down at me.

"Oh, I'm fine. I've got my own,"

The man went to find the right size and came back a few seconds later. He handed Greg his skates and called for the next person in line.

Greg and I walked to the chairs and began to put our skates on.

"How come you have your own?" He said gesturing to my black and purple skates.

"I used to skate competitively. I haven't skated in a while actually," I answered.

"Why'd you stop? I mean you obviously loved it," he asked.

It was true I did love it and still did, but to be honest I had no idea why I gave it up.

"I don't actually know. I guess I got busy," I shrugged as I did up my laces.

I looked up to see Greg finishing his off.

"You ready?" He asked to which I nodded my head.

We made our way out onto the ice and 'Clarity' by Zedd and the Foxes started playing.

We matched pace with the music and moved our feet to the music. Our hand still firmly held together sat in between us.

I couldn't wait for the rest of this date. If it were even half as good as this it would be the best.
