My eyes burst open to see that I was right. We were surrounded by woodlands.

In front of us was a clearing. in the center of the clearing was a blanket with a picnic basket perched on top.

"It's beautiful," I said turning my head to smile at Greg.

After a moment of starring into each others eyes, I looked away and asked, "I don't even know why we hated each other so much."

Greg laughed, "I honestly don't know.  I knew from the moment I met you that you were the one."

"But you were 5," I said.

"I just knew," he chuckled, "I still remember the first time I met you and you were laughing so hard that the milk came out of you nose."

"If I remember correctly, you were the one who made me laugh with a joke about crossing an elephant and a kangaroo," I looked at him.

"Oh yeah! I think it was 'what do you get if you cross and elephant with a kangaroo?'" he paused "'Big holes in Australia'"

We both laughed at how terrible that joke was.

"Even since day one you've been a goof," I joked.

We both chuckled. His eyes glistened in the sunlight, his cheeks rosey from his laughter.

A lock of my hair fell from its place and rested against my nose. Greg stroked my face with the back of his hand and placed the strand back into its original position.
