Y/n walked around the temple, he just finished cleaning the whole place and relaxed as Wukong hopped around. "I'M SO BORRREDDDDD!!!!" Wukong suddenly yells, laying down across Y/n's shoulders.
"Perhaps then you should see MK, your pupil I believe?"
Wukong huffed, dramatically throwing his head back and letting out an exaggerated sigh as he sprawled across Y/n’s shoulders. "Ughhh, you always say that, I get that he's my student but I'm retired" he groaned, leaning in so close that Y/n could feel the warmth of his breath against his neck. "I thought you might be a little more fun than that."
Y/n kept walking, ignoring the weight on his shoulders as if Wukong’s antics were just a normal part of his day. He didn't respond, his focus forward as they moved through the temple’s quiet halls.
Wukong, however, wasn't one to back down from a challenge. He leaned in closer, an almost wicked smirk pulling at the corners of his mouth. "I mean, really," he murmured, his tone low and smooth. "What’s so important about training MK that I can’t spend a little time here… with you? He's got his whole life ahead of him" His voice dipped, and he let the last words roll off his tongue slowly, a hint of something playful and bold hanging in the air.
Y/n’s gaze remained steady, but Wukong noticed the slightest twitch in his jaw. That small reaction seemed to embolden him, and he shifted his weight on Y/n’s shoulders, making himself more comfortable as he draped an arm lazily over Y/n’s chest. "You know," he drawled, his voice barely above a whisper, "this is the longest I’ve seen you let anyone get this close. I must be special."
The words seemed to surprise even him, but he didn’t stop there. A strange thrill danced through him at pushing Y/n’s boundaries, testing that composed calm that Y/n always wore like armor. Wukong's fingers traced a light pattern along the armor at Y/n's shoulder, each touch deliberate, almost reverent.
"Don’t tell me that famous Jade warrior exterior is cracking just because I’m here," he teased, his lips quirking into a mischievous grin. His eyes glinted, reflecting the sunlight that filtered through the temple’s windows, as he added, "Because I’d be more than happy to see what’s underneath."
Y/n shot him a steady look, his patience clearly being tested, but still, he didn’t shake Wukong off. Wukong’s boldness grew, and his fingers found the edge of Y/n’s collar, grazing the form beneath. He let out a soft laugh, the sound rich and uncharacteristically soft. "Oh, come on," he whispered, "don't give me that look, I'm just playing"
Wukong’s eyes flicked up, a spark of daring glinting in them. "You know, you’re actually kind of lucky," he continued, his voice a little rougher. "Not everyone gets this level of… personal attention." He let the last word linger, surprised at his own audacity.
Y/n finally gave him a sidelong look, one brow raised in mild disbelief. But Wukong only chuckled, the sound warmer than his usual banter. He shifted even closer, bringing his mouth so close to Y/n's helm that his next words were barely a breath. "Maybe you could return the favor, hmm?"
The question hung in the air, a playful taunt wrapped in a challenge. Wukong felt a strange rush in his chest, his heartbeat loud as he realized just how far he’d pushed his luck. "I am thinking of ways to secure Macaque, your playing is getting distracting Wukong" The Jade Warrior replied blankly and steady, Wukong's lips pressing into a thin line as the two stare at eachother.
"You saw Macaque? Where? When!?" Wukong suddenly says, fully laying down and now gazing into the sky as Y/n steps outside.
"He was the one who took my armor a couple days ago, I hunted him down and got it back." Y/n states with some mild confusion.
