The sun rose over the palace gardens, casting a warm glow. Rosepetal stretched, feeling refreshed after a peaceful night's sleep.

She sought out Stripes, eager to share a morning greeting. But Stripes was nowhere to be found.

Rosepetal searched the gardens, puzzled. Usually, Stripes would be by her side.

Luna noticed Rosepetal's concern. "Stripes was up early, seemed troubled."

Raven added, "I saw him pacing alone, looking worried."

Rosepetal's ears folded back, concerned. What could be bothering Stripes?

Throughout the day, Stripes avoided Rosepetal, taking tasks elsewhere or hiding behind solo patrols.

Rosepetal respected his space, though confusion and a hint of sadness lingered.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, Rosepetal approached Stripes, who stood alone on the palace balcony.

"Stripes, is everything okay?" Rosepetal asked softly.

Stripes turned, his eyes evasive. "Just tired, Rosepetal. Need some time."

Rosepetal nodded, though her heart ached. "Take all the time you need."

Stripes' gaze lingered on hers before he turned away.

Rosepetal retreated, questions swirling in her mind.

What was troubling Stripes? Had she done something wrong?
