Jamie's point of view
"Then I start to see one testicle coming out, then both of them." Anon initiated.
"Oh my God..." I put my hands over my face.
"Don't worry, it was just a manageable breech birth. Plus, it wasn't the lady's first pregnancy."
"I have no idea what you're talking about, but I suppose you're right. So what happened next?"
"I scanned my trainees and I spotted one of them dizzy."
"Doesn't sound good."
"And to top it off, she was the one supposed to handle the delivery."
"Worst situation ever." I made a rictus. "Did she make it anyway?"
"She fainted before the baby came. I had to step in while she was lying on the floor, unconscious." he replied in the most exaggerating way.
"How long?"
"Long enough for me to do all the work."
"Did you scold her? I mean when she came back to life?" I asked.
"No, but I made her realize how important her position was. She had to understand that two different lives are in her hands while proceeding to a delivery and that she had to be at her best if she wanted to do it right."
"Mean, but true." .
"I did let her handle the newborn care afterward, just so she could redeem herself. See, I'm nice."
"Yeah yeah. I see that. You're mostly supposed to guide your trainees."
"It's a full-time job." he conceded.
"I agree. It must be tough. Being a good doctor itself isn't easy." I admitted with a light smile.
"And then you still have people complaining that I'm not present enough in their lives. Bullshit." he took a sip of his scotch. "Don't take it personally; I wasn't talking about you."
"Guess the scotch is starting to do its job?" I commented on his swearing word. "And no I didn't feel targeted at all. Never I ever complained anyway."
"And that's the most disappointing part when I think aback about my past relationships."
"Oh Lord, are we really doing this?"
"Doing what? What do you mean?" he asked confused.
"It's been ages since we last shared a drink and you want to talk about your sexual experiences? You really can't be serious."
"Which sexual experiences? I'm just talking about my past relationships."
"You mean your past intercourses?"
"Who gives about the label; the point is, they all lack understanding. They're not like you."
"If you compare me to your so-called past relationships one more time, I swear I'll be the one to kill you instead of Anna."
"At least I'll be forever in Green Hill."
"Yes, underground and in decomposition" I replied with a fake smile.
"Now you're the one being mean." he pouted.
"Why don't you try to create something with...I don't know...Another doctor?"
