For as long as you can remember, you just don't do crowds.

One of your greatest fears is to literally get lost in a crowd, due to a similar experience you had as a kid. Taylor knew about it and was easily very understanding, which really helped you to get out of going somewhere you know is going to be crowded.

Though Taylor was understanding, she can't help but feel annoyed at times when you decline her invitation or request to go somewhere with her. After getting invited to a party one evening by Selena, Taylor decided to put her foot down and try everything in her power to get you to come. Needless to say, it didn't go down very well as she hoped it would. It was getting late into the evening and you were growing tired. When Taylor made her approach about this to you, you weren't up for doing anything other than have a nice evening with Taylor. Having it be just the two of you spending time together, time alone, a time you haven't had in a while.

A nice evening at home with Taylor was what you needed, and Taylor was about to find out the hard way.

With just the two of you, something you both haven't had in a while due to Taylor's busy schedule. When she brought up the subject of the party, it took you by surprise as it was not what you were expecting and when you declined her request yet again, you have never seen the look on her face fall so fast. This time, she wasn't so understanding with you, she begins giving you a hard time and make you feel bad about it.

"What do you say? Wanna go?" Taylor asks.

You just shook your head 'No' and started to give an explanation.

However, you don't go far into it before Taylor stops you by rolling her eyes, beginning to feel annoyed again by your rejection.

"Are you kidding me, (Y/n)?"

"I'm sorry, Taylor. But you know I don't like crowded places."

"I know that! But honest to god, (Y/n)! It's like you don't want me anymore! A change would be nice, you can't just not go with me every time I ask!"

"Taylor-"

"I'm serious, (Y/n)! I'm tired of going and doing things by myself is all I'm saying! Do you not love me anymore?!"

You couldn't believe what you were hearing.

Did Taylor really think that? That you don't love her anymore? Because that's the furthest from the truth. It's nowhere near the truth, if anything, it's the untruest thing possible. As you thought about it, you don't want her thinking you don't love her, because you do. You loved her to pieces.

Not wanting to make her feel that way, you caved in and ultimately, agreed to go. It would be anything but fun, but you would at least be with Taylor, the love of your life. A limo was sent to pick the two of you up and on the way there, you decided to pretend like nothing had just happened between you and Taylor. As you sat in the limo, you could feel your heart thumping in your ears as a wave of anxiety washes over you. Taylor was beside you, holding to your hand in a gentle yet firm grip. Nothing was said throughout the whole ride over.

There was just a hint of tension in air between you, but not knowing another way to deal with it, you just dealt with it. Once you stepped inside, you started losing any composure you had left just by the sight of the crowd, seeing how crowded it was. The place was packed full of people, most you haven't even met yet. While walking together, you were about to poke a little in the crowd when Selena and Olivia had found you. After exchanging small talk, Taylor parts ways with you and starts following Selena around as you remained with Olivia.

Olivia was aware of your anxiety when it comes to large crowds, she has seen what it can do to you and she's about to see it again. To enlighten the mood, Olivia makes a joke that got you to crack a small smile.

"Tough crowd, am I right?"

You could only laugh a little at this point, your anxiety was rising and there was no signs of it stopping so soon.

Olivia could sense the panic and fear in the air, and you could as well, which wasn't helping your situation. While Olivia took your hand in hers for comfort, you used your free hand to push your hair away from your face, trying to give the impression that there was nothing wrong. When your hand was in front of your face, your jaw dropped. It was shaking violently and you realized the reason for Olivia to begin to squeeze your hand more firmly.

"(Y/n), you're okay." she tried to say, not realizing that Taylor was making her way back over.

"What's going on?"

Taylor noticed your hand shaking from a distance along with the look on your face she couldn't quite read.

Taylor immediately grew concerned and didn't know how to help you in a place like this.

"Taylor-" you tried to speak, but your throat felt so tight that you couldn't.

"(Y/n).." she said, lightly grabbing your shoulders and pulling you close to her, trying to calm you.

You don't deal well with crowds. In a crowded place like this, people were always grabbing you, and you felt like you were trapped.

Taylor had deal with you having panic attacks before, but none like the one you were having now. She almost didn't know what to do as you felt tears fall on your cheeks as your body began to shake like a leaf in the wind. It was at that point Taylor gently took you back to the limo parked out front, intending to take the both of you home. Nothing was said at first, until she started coaxing you to remain as calm as you can.

"Can you turn on the cool air?" Taylor called, and the sudden blast of cool was soothing to the amount of warmth of your body.

After a few minutes, you were beginning to feel yourself relax a little more.

"You alright?" Taylor asked, and you nod.

"It's okay now. I just haven't had one like that in a while, it took me by surprise is all."

Seeing you wipe your tear stained face, Taylor felt awful about this. About the fact she practically chose to drag you into this rather than listen to you in the first place.

She shook her head, disappointed in herself, ashamed of herself for being this selfish.

"I'm sorry, this my fault. If I had just listened to you in the first place, you wouldn't have had to go through this."

You just shake your head, not being able to take the fact that she was blaming herself for the panic attack you had just experienced.

"No, it's not. It's okay. I'm just thankful you're here." you said.

Taylor smiled and gave you a passionate kiss before she climbed over you and opened the door.

She held her hand out as you stepped out, feeling good about having Taylor with you in that moment.
