Aizawa's POV:

The rain was pouring hard outside the dorm windows. It had been days since the rain started without stopping and, as a result, our class was on temporary lockdown when it came to training. A few of us had started to feel restless. However, a few particularly bold students were making plans to break the rules and go outside.

"Come on, you guys! It'll only be for a short while. It's not like we were put under house arrest over a villain attack- I'm going crazy just sitting here!" The student who's name I couldn't bother to remember was quite convincing, seeing as a lot of students were starting to agree with her.

"That's not a very good idea.." I mumble under my breath, doing my homework at the common room's table. I would be in my room if the sound of the rain wasn't much louder there. Then again, I don't know why I expected it to be any quieter here.

A sigh escapes me and I close my notebook. As I'm about to leave, someone I wasn't expecting to get on board with the plan joins in on the conversation. "Outrageous! Scandalous! Shameful! Lemme in on it!"

My brow twitches as I look at Oboro, who seemed to have motivated the students further with his presence alone. "Are you being serious right now..?"

"Sure, why not?" Oboro throws an arm around me with a wide grin that spelled for trouble. "Don't act like you haven't been going stir crazy yourself. If class 2-A is gonna get in trouble, we should at least do it together! It'll probably lighten the punishment, don't you think?"

"No, I don't.. and clearly you don't think either.." I shake off his arm and start to leave. "If you're gonna get into trouble, do it yourselves.. Don't involve me in this.." Oboro pouts and Hizashi stands right in front of me, blocking my path.

A grin curves his lips and I try to maneuver around him, but he doesn't let me. When I try to turn back around, Oboro does the same. A tick mark appears on my head before I let out a long sigh. I really shouldn't have left my room.

The next day, all the students who broke the rules, along with the ones who were forced to come along, were cleaning the 2-B dorm building as punishment. No matter where we cleaned, class 2-B was there to make a remark on what we'd done, making it all the more humiliating.

Oboro and I were cleaning the dorm study room together. We placed a sign just outside the door that said closed for cleaning. Oboro was quiet the whole time until he mumbles something under his breath I couldn't hear well. I stop sweeping and turn my head up, my brows furrowing in annoyance. "What-?"

I'm caught off guard when I notice his usual carefree smile is replaced with a gloomy expression. He sighs, wiping the table he'd cleared out not to long ago. "I said I'm sorry.. Even if the rest of us got in trouble for breaking the rules, you were only dragged into it because of me.. I'm really sorry, Shota.."

There's a long moment of silence after that. I had never seen him so down before. He looked like a scolded puppy right now. A sigh escapes me and I set the broom aside, rubbing the back of my neck. "..I forgive you. I know you didn't have bad intentions and.. it is true that I was also restless because of the rain.."

"Yeah.. you were, huh..?" Oboro's glum expression is replaced with a childish smile. I let out a soft scoff, trying not to smile back. His eyes widen and he walks over to me, having forgotten about cleaning the table. "Are you- smiling right now..?"

My smile only grows after I get caught so I quickly turn my head away, about to pick up the broom again when he catches my wrist. "You're seeing things.." A chuckle escapes him and I struggle to hide my rare smile from him.
