I woke up the next morning with a groan. Dang, I've got to socialize again today. Ugh...maybe five more minutes of warmth first, I thought to myself as I rolled over and pulled my blankets up more. Unfortunately, I was already at the edge of the bed so when I rolled over, I landed on the floor with a thump.

"Ow," I muttered while I untangled myself from the blanket.

Levi ran into the room with a concerned look on his face. "You alright? I heard a thump."

"Yeah, the blanket just fell," I answered him with a shrug.

He raised an eyebrow at this. "That was a pretty loud thump for just a blanket."

"Erm, I may or may not have been in it."

"Ah, that makes sense. You ok?" He asked while his eyes scanned for any visible wounds.

"Aside from my pride being hurt, I'm fine. Lets just get this day over with."

Levi nodded and picked an outfit for the day along with a pull up. My face began to heat up when I realized the one I was already wearing felt wet.

"There is wipes in the bathroom if you wanna get yourself cleaned up," he told me while handing me the pile of clothes. "Imma get started on breakfast so let me know when you're done."

"Pancakes?" I asked him hopefully.

He laughed before nodding. "Sure, why not. Imma be in charge of the syrup this time though."

I groaned at this but nodded before heading to the bathroom. It didnt take long for me to find the baby powder scented wipes. I quickly took of my soaked pull up and cleaned myself before putting on a clean one. I prayed that the accidents were only a night time thing and I wouldn't have to worry about it in the daytime.

After I finished getting dressed, I made my way to the stairs, already smelling the pancakes. Very subtly, I began to summon my wings, fully planning on flying over the gate.

"Shailyn Ransley if you take one wing flap over that gate, my hand will be having a brief but stingy meeting with your bottom." I hear my Guardians say sternly as footsteps make their way to the stairs.

"Was only thinking about it," I muttered as he began walking up the stairs.

"Uh huh, and if I hadn't of said anything, you would have done it," He replied while picking me up. "Be glad I'm nice enough to give a warning little girl."

I huff and cross my arms into a pout. It didn't last long though as the sight of blueberry pancakes came into view. I didn't even care when Levi sat me in a highchair. As long as the blueberry deliciousness would be given to me, I'll sit here with no complaints.

"When do we have to meet your mates?" I ask as my guardian sat down with his own plate.

"After breakfast. I figured meeting in the morning would give your anxiety less time to overthink things."

This was good. I definitely had the tendency to over think, I couldn't help it though. If it was later in the day, I probably would have talked myself into not going.

It didn't take long for my pancakes to be finished. Even though I had used my silverware, syrup had still somehow found it's way onto my hands and face. Out of habit, I almost wiped them on my pants but my guardian stopped me.

"We really need to break that habit," he muttered while grabbing a washcloth.

"Sorry," I said with a shrug before I was let down from my highchair.

"It's alright, let's get some shoes on you before we head out. I already packed our to-go bag as well as a picnic basket."

I nodded and went to put them on. Levi grabbed a backpack and slung it over his shoulder. He then grabbed the basket from the fridge before we headed out the door.

Despite my protests, I was buckled into a car seat. I huffed but didn't complain since I didn't want to get in trouble. The ride was only fifteen minutes anyways so, I didn't have to stay in it for very long.

After my guardian found a parking spot, I was let out and placed on the soft grass.  He grabbed the backpack and basket again before taking my hand and walking to a ginormous park.

"Erik and Axel should already be here getting a blanket set up. This park is specifically for littles so, don't be afraid to slip if you want to. If you do get the urge, try not to fight it OK? You'll get a headache if you do."

"Yeah, yeah. I'll be fine." I answer while looking around. It was odd to see a playground with equipment ment for adults. Never even knew that was a thing to be honest.

We walked over to a grassier part of the park. There were quite a few families on blankets and I couldn't quite see where my other guardians were. Thankfully, Levi pointed out the other griffin and fairy duo after seeing me struggle. They were laying on a blue and white stripped blanket. We made our way over and Erik was the first to notice us approach.

"Hey there," He greeted us with a friendly smile. Axel looked up from a comic book he was reading and waved.

"Hello. Gotta say, you picked a pretty good day for the Park. The weather is beautiful," Levi told them with a smile.

"Indeed. Thank you for agreeing to meet with us today," Erik said while standing up. "I understand that it's been an eventful week for you guys so far. We are o.k with taking things slow right now  and if there is anything we can help with, let us know. Getting situated in a new home and lifestyle can be overwhelming, and we are grateful for the chance to get to know you and Shailyn."

"We are happy we have the chance to get to know you guys as well. Shailyn is new to everything though so..."

"Making her feel safe and comfortable is top priority," Erik nodded in understanding before looking my way. "It took Axel some time to get used to everything as well. He's a switch and the headspaces used to be a struggle for him.  I promise everything will become easier to manage soon. It will come naturally to ya."

"Yeah, sure." I reply back before eyeing the Comic book Axel was reading. "Is that the amazing Spiderman?"

The fairy nodded with a grin. "Of course, it's only like, the best Comic book out there."

"Agreed, absolutely love them. Got anymore on ya?" I ask while sitting on the grass next to the blanket.

"I've got two more if you'd like to read one. Can share the blanket too if you want. I dunno about you but, grass makes me itchy if I sit on it for too long."

Erik and Levi watched as I scurried onto the blanket and accepted one of the Comic books. Soon, I became to focused on the pages to notice the caregivers both give a sigh of relief. They were pleased that their two littles already had a shared interest.
